In a shocking new poll, highly coveted “independent” voters, those not affiliated by either major political party, say they would vote for a candidate who opposes Obamacare by a wide margin of 25%.
The
new poll released Monday by FOX News asks voters who they would vote for if the only difference between two congressional candidates is that one promises to fight for Obamacare, while the other candidate promises to fight against it. Independent voters said they’d vote for the anti-Obamacare candidate 54% – 29%.
Both political parties make major efforts to reach the independent vote as they assume most affiliated voters will usually vote for their respective parties.
Additionally, a whopping 72% of independents say that the candidate’s position on Obamacare would be an important factor in their decision who they’d cast their vote for.
