Big-Mouth O’Donnell Could And Should Face Charges For Excessive Campaign Contributions

In a perfect world, this wouldn’t even be up for debate because O’Donnell absolutely SHOULD be jailed. After all, Dinesh D’souza did basically the same thing, excessive donations, and did 8 months in a half-way house as punishment. Whats in Your Wallet

Maybe it’s because of Rosie’s star status or her uber-leftest anti-Trump stance, but liberals everywhere are rushing in to defend her. Despite her clear violation of campaign procedures. The fact is, if this had been donation TO Trump and not against him- heads would have exploded. Double standards much?

O’Donnell, proud of her ‘accomplishments, challenges the law in her tweet saying ‘have at it’:

rosieRosie’s tweet reads, “all my donations – my goal is to support all those opposed to trump have at it …” and includes some type of crude anti-Trump ‘artwork.

According to Fox News, O’Donnell donates through the online liberal fundraising platform ActBlue, which, she assumed, “limits donations to the max allowed.” Filings show that O’Donnell has donated more than $90,000 to 50 different federal candidates and committees during the 2017-18 election cycle.

 Federal Election Commission rules dictate that an individual candidate may not receive more than $2,700 from any one person per election. (The limit applies separately to primaries, runoffs and general elections.)

Rosie O’Donnell made illegally over-sized campaign donations to at least five Democratic federal candidates, according to a Post analysis of campaign filings. The liberal comedian has regularly broken Federal Election Commission rules limiting the total any one person can give to an individual candidate at $2,700 per election. The limit applies separately to primaries, runoffs and general elections. 

“Nothing nefarious,” the outspoken star and Donald Trump arch-nemesis wrote in an email to the Post. “I was not choosing to over donate.

“If 2700 is the cut off — [candidates] should refund the money,” she wrote. “I don’t look to see who I can donate most to … I just donate assuming they do not accept what is over the limit.”

Does this mean Rosie is FINALLY keeping that promise to leave…? With apologies to Canada (better them than us … #SorryNotSorry) we’ve been thrilled at the idea of Rosie packing her bags and heading North. Forever.
