Wonderful, it should be played every day till the American public wake up.
If you are not a regular watcher of Fox News (especially during the daytime hours) Then you may have missed thisĀ RETORTĀ by Neil Cavuto. This is an excellent response (September 26, 2013) to the contradictory occupant of the White House. Takes only a moment to watch. ll want to send it on to others who have meaningful things going on in the daytime.
Anyone who has ever bought a car knows about “sticker shock.”Ā You’ve eyedĀ that car on the dealership lot from afar.Ā Finally, the time is right to take aĀ test drive then seal the deal to make that purchase.Ā However, the price on theĀ sticker is more than enough to send you into hyperventilation fits as you tryĀ toĀ convince yourself the sticker price is wrong.Ā Well, Mr. Obama and his bandĀ ofĀ merry Democrats are currently suffering “ObamacareĀ shock.”Ā Yes, they knewĀ millions of Americans would lose their healthcare insurance and many would notĀ be able to keep their doctor.Ā It was obvious to those who analyzed the effectsĀ of ObamacareĀ that healthcare insurance premiums would increase on mostĀ AmericansĀ who would be forced into the exchanges, along with other abominationsĀ that haveĀ yet to gain the attention of the public.Ā So, why are Mr. Obama andĀ hisĀ Democrats experiencing “Obamacare shock?”
The law’s namesake and Democrats in Congress areĀ shockedĀ at the reaction ofĀ Americans to ObamacareĀ after its implementation.Ā Ā Just as the Congress passed this law so they could find out what’s in it, manyĀ Americans reserved their judgment of the government healthcare insurance lawĀ until after its roll-out.Ā Millions of Americans received cancellation noticesĀ from their healthcare insurance providers while the government website forĀ enrollment into ObamacareĀ was, in the most pleasant of terms, inoperative.Ā Ā Those who were able to accessĀ the new ObamacareĀ exchanges were hit with higherĀ premiums, deductibles, and some discovered they were ineligible to receive aĀ subsidy to offset the increased cost.Ā The result is Americans who originallyĀ supported Obamacare have now jumped ship, previously insured Americans will nowĀ be uninsured, and those Americans the law targeted will continue to beĀ uninsured.Ā Add to this equation the dismal numbers of Americans who haveĀ actually accessed the exchanges and the emerging picture of “failure” becomesĀ clear.
Now, some Democrats, who previously supported this monstrosity, have begun toĀ distance themselves from the disaster using many different tactics ranging fromĀ blaming the Republicans, dropping the affectionate designation “Obamacare,” toĀ calling for complete repeal.Ā Obama has entered damage control mode, but hisĀ goal of a single payer system is still the brass ring he strives to reach.Ā InĀ his latest attempt to soothe the masses, Obama has indicated his signatureĀ healthcare law needs “aĀ full-blown rebranding effort.”Ā Once again, Obama hits the campaign trailĀ inĀ public relations gear attempting to remarket a product that is more thanĀ defective ā it’s totally broken.
AtĀ a meeting in Washington, hosted by the Wall Street Journal,Ā Obama toldĀ attendees, “I am confident that the model we’ve built, which works off theĀ existing private insurance system, is one that will succeed.Ā We’re going toĀ have to, A., fix the website so everybody feels confident about that.Ā We’reĀ obviously going to have to remarket and rebrand and that will be challenging inĀ this political environment.”
Translation:Ā “What we have is causing me grief; it’s not working soĀ I want my name off of it.”

Rebranding
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaRebranding is a marketingĀ strategy in which a new name, term, symbol, design, or combination thereof is created for an established brandĀ with the intention of developing a new, differentiated identity in the minds of consumers, investors, and competitors.[1][2] Often, this involves radical changes to a brand’s logo, name, image, marketing strategy, and advertising themes. Such changes typically aim to reposition the brand/company, occasionally to distance itself from negative connotations of the previous branding, or to move the brand upmarket; they may also communicate a new message a new board of directors wishes to communicate.
Rebranding can be applied to new products, mature products, or even products still in development. The process can occur intentionally through a deliberate change in strategy or occur unintentionally from unplanned, emergent situations, such as a “Chapter 11 corporate restructuring,” “union busting,” or “bankruptcy.”
Obama and a Democratic majority Senate and House decided that 30 millionĀ uninsured Americans needed to purchaseĀ healthcare insurance.Ā They declared ourĀ healthcare system “broken” and passed Obamacare.Ā These same politiciansĀ modeledĀ ObamacareĀ “off the existing private insurance system.”Ā Now, due to theĀ negativeĀ backlash, Obama has decided that a new marketing campaign andĀ rebranding thisĀ atrocity is the solution.
One question that should be asked of Obama is:Ā If our system was “broken,”Ā why was the existing private insurance system used as a model to build theĀ current one?
The 30 million Americans who are uninsuredĀ is not because of a “broken”Ā system.Ā Those uninsured are not eligible for Medicare or Medicaid.Ā PrivateĀ individualĀ healthcare insurance policy premiums are out of reach for some basedĀ on their income and/or numerousĀ economic difficulties.Ā Then, there are thoseĀ Americans who choose not to purchase healthcare insurance policies for reasonsĀ that are not income or economic based.
The premise made by Obama and his idolatrous worshiping Democrats wasĀ individualsĀ without healthcare insurance coverage did not have access toĀ healthcare or “good” healthcare services.Ā Access to healthcare is veryĀ different from the ability to pay for those services.Ā Having healthcareĀ insurance does not guarantee the receipt of healthcare services nor does itĀ guarantee payment for those services.Ā Healthcare insurance coverage isĀ designedĀ to offset the cost of medical services thereby reducing out of pocketĀ expensesĀ to the individual.
An individualĀ may not beĀ able to “access” healthcare services when neededĀ because of logistics.Ā In very rural areas, healthcare facilities are not asĀ prevalent or varied as in cities.Ā It may beĀ inconvenient for individualsĀ toĀ travel long distances to receive services.Ā And, the healthcare industry isĀ suffering from lack of doctors and support personnel, such as nurses, toĀ adequately expand services in needed areas.Ā Depending on the need forĀ specialtyĀ services, individualsĀ may wait months to see an orthopedist,Ā neurologist orĀ rheumatologist, to name a few.Ā Mandating individualsĀ toĀ purchase healthcareĀ insurance does not solve the problem of logistics.
During the Washington gathering, ObamaĀ did acknowledge problems with the Obamacare website stating, “There is aĀ larger problem ⦠the way the federal government does procurement and does ITĀ is,Ā just generally, not very efficient.Ā In fact, there’s probably no biggerĀ gapĀ between the private and public sector than IT.”
Translation:Ā “I know we gave a no-bid contract to Michelle’sĀ friend’s company but Congress allows it.Ā The company is the one who defaulted,Ā so it’s not my fault.”
The company selected to build the federal website for access to the exchangesĀ was awarded to the company where Michelle Obama’s friend held a high position.Ā Ā According to one source, the company responsible for the failed website was paidĀ $394 million ā four times the original quoted costĀ of $94 million.Ā Ā FacebookĀ and Twitter were createdĀ for less.Ā When procurement of a company toĀ do businessĀ with the federal government is based on cronyism, one can almostĀ predict thereĀ will be problems.Ā So, the problem is not a big IT gap betweenĀ the public andĀ private sector nor is it inefficiency with procurement.Ā TheĀ problem isĀ politicians and presidents rewarding friends and monetaryĀ contributors withĀ government contracts or positions instead of basingĀ procurement and employmentĀ on qualifications.Ā That is not inefficiency.
During one of my second year nursing classes, a guest speaker stated “noĀ matter how many times you kiss a frog, it’s still a frog.”Ā It’s the same withĀ Obamacare.Ā No matter how Obama and the Democrats try to dress it up, changeĀ itsĀ name, change its website or flip-flop the disaster that it is, it is stillĀ anĀ unconstitutional law that forces Americans into a system that ultimatelyĀ removesĀ individual choicesĀ regarding healthcare in favor of government dictatesĀ in anĀ area the government has no business.
So, keep kissing that frog, Nancy.
ObamacareĀ shock among its namesake and Democrats is already having itsĀ effects.Ā Obama is being derelict in his duty to make sure the law isĀ faithfullyĀ executed by legislating changes in the mandate deadlines throughĀ executiveĀ order.Ā Democrats and RINOsĀ in Congress are swiftly attempting toĀ passĀ legislation so those millions who have received cancellation letters fromĀ theirĀ carrierĀ can keep their policy, for only a year.Ā They are having aĀ knee-jerkĀ reaction to problems they knew would occur when the law was passedĀ three yearsĀ ago.Ā Ego and desperation are the driving actions, nothingĀ more.
Regardless of the Supreme Court ruling, the government mandating individualsĀ purchaseĀ healthcare insurance or the government providing socialized medicineĀ isĀ not an enumerated power of Congress per our Constitution.Ā All branches ofĀ ourĀ government ignored this stipulation regardless of whether it is describedĀ as aĀ “tax” or not.Ā Instead of adhering to the Constitution, the egos of ObamaĀ andĀ the Democrats chase after this pig of a piece of legislation that’s coveredĀ inĀ lard.
Americans are saddledĀ with this unconstitutional law and are, basically,Ā being forced to obtainĀ a healthcare insurance plan or face a penalty (tax)Ā imposed by the Internal Revenue Service.Ā Obama and his donkeys continue toĀ kissĀ the frog in hopes of a prince or continue to put lipstick on the pig in anĀ attempt toĀ disguise the “pork.”Ā Either way, the American public can expectĀ moreĀ posturing, more lying, more deception and more unlawful behavior from ourĀ elected officials as more information is revealed about this law.
More Obamacare shock is on the horizon for Americans as well.Ā Congress canĀ repeal this nightmare of an abominable, unconstitutional law or states canĀ nullify it.Ā Until then, the only recourse Americans have against this shock isĀ to walk off the dealership lot.
