Citizens With AR-15s Surround Texas Mosque… Send Unmistakable Message to Muslims

A group calling itself the Bureau on American-Islamic Relations, or BAIR, gathered outside an Irving, Texas, mosque on Saturday, armed with AR-15s and claiming they were protesting “the Islamization of America” and the continued influx of Syrian refugees in the face of brutal Islamic terrorism.

According to KDFW-TV, the group picketing outside the Islamic Center of Irving numbered about 15. One carried a placard that said “Solution to Islamic terrorism,” with an arrow pointing to another protester — an armed man in fatigues.

The protests took place with heavy police presence, including a SWAT team on standby. However, no incidents were reported.

“We are here protesting Syrian refugees coming to America, protesting the Islamization of America,” said David Wright, BAIR spokesman.

“I think the popular belief is, people are scared. They’re scared to say anything about it. They’re scared to come out to a place like this and stand in front of a mosque and protest Islam.”

As for the AR-15s, BAIR said they were necessary for the purposes of the protest.

“We do want to show force,” Wright said. “It would be ridiculous to protest Islam without defending ourselves.”

Protesters insisted they were being unfairly pegged as racists.

“It’s a boiling pot. The kettle … the top on this kettle is on really really tight and it is going to blow,” said a protester who didn’t want his name publicized. “I may look like their version of a racist but I’m not. I’m not even a racist here. I just don’t want them to push their beliefs down my throat.”

The city where the protest took place is no accident. Although perhaps best known as the home of the Dallas Cowboys, Irving was also the home to Muslim teenager Ahmed “Bomb Clock” Mohamed, the 13-year-old whose “homemade” clock looked enough like a bomb to get him taken out of school in handcuffs for it in September.

In addition, Irving also was home to what was to be the first Shariah law court in America earlier this year. However, city officials intervened and the project was halted.

Media coverage on Ahmed “Bomb-Clock” Mohamed has been remarkably one-sided, with the Mohamed family and the media spinning a tale of Islamophobia and overreaction. However, in an appearance on Glenn Beck’s The Blaze TV last night, the mayor of the city where Mohamed goes to school painted a starkly different picture. Among other revelations were her claims that the Mohamed family had stonewalled her and seemed more interested in talking with the Council on American-Islamic Relations and related groups than with city officials.

Irving, Texas, Mayor Beth Van Duyne said that, since Mohamed is a juvenile, they cannot release the records of what caused police to arrest him. She says that the family has refused to allow those records to be released, according to Townhall.com.

“The (Irving) school district, a number of times, has asked the family to release the records, so that you can have the balanced story out there,” Van Duyne said. “The family is ignoring the request from the ISD.”

The mayor said the records would “help to describe why it progressed as it did.”

“Nobody is going to walk in and say, ‘Oh you’re a 14-year old child, you’re totally cooperating, we have all the answers we need, let’s arrest you,’” Van Duyne said, adding she had information that Mohamed was being “passive aggressive” and “non-responsive” when police questioned him.

Van Duyne also noted that the family seemed more interested in seeking press than resolving the issue.

“We had tried to reach out to the family a number of times; this was before it ever even hit the papers on Wednesday,” Van Duyne said. “At the exact same time they were supposed to be meeting with us, they were on their front lawn with a press conference.”culture of deceit and lies

Van Duyne also slammed President Barack Obama for jumping the gun on Ahmed Mohamed’s case.

“We never even got a call from anybody at the White House asking to verify any of that information,” Van Duyne said. “I don’t think the picture of the hoax bomb was even released before he tweeted ‘cool clock kid.’”muslim-obama

Van Duyne, adding that Irving officials were receiving death threats because of the case, said that the “teacher was reacting to the device, not the student.”

“If something had happened, and nobody had spoken up, people would be livid,” Van Duyne said. “Can you imagine if you were a parent at ISD and no one said anything?”

This radical group of Muslims is not pleased with the Mayor of Irving, Texas after she put the end to America’s first “Sharia Court.” Mayor Beth Van Duyne has accused mosque leaders of creating separate laws for Muslims, which is why the city voted to stop these supposedly “voluntary” tribunals from operating.Christian Persecution

In a very close 5-4 vote, the city of Irving ruled to back the Texas state bill banning foreign law from the state. The bill doesn’t mention Sharia or any religion, but it’s a huge defeat for Sharia supporters, as such courts are in violation of the U.S. Constitution.

All four of the “voluntary” court’s lawyers were unlicensed in the state of Texas, a third degree felony. Mayor Beth Van Duyne received several phone calls on the matter. It seems that the Islamic Tribunal not only was unlicensed, but they failed to notify the city of their illegal court being operated in city limits. She promised to get to the bottom of it, and she did.

By their own website’s admission, if U.S. law conflicts with Sharia law, “we follow Sharia law.” It also openly admitted separate rules for men and women in their proceedings, discriminating and humiliating women which is against the U.S. Constitution. The Islamic Tribunal also openly declared that they hope [this] will “set a precedence that will be emulated and duplicated throughout the country.”Islam is NOT

And while Muslims filled the city council hearing to voice their opposition, the Mayor shot back:

“This bill does not reference Shariah, Islam or even religion. It has nothing to do with preventing any tribunal,” Van Duyne told the crowd. “Why anyone would feel this is hatred or bigotry is absolutely beyond me.”

Good for Mayor Van Duyne! The legal system from the Islamic faith is incompatible with civilized Western cultures. To have anyone in America abiding by Sharia law is a dangerous precedent, which is why the city moved swiftly to outlaw the practice. No one is above the law!
