Fiscal year 2022 saw a record number of migrant crossings and deaths as illegal immigration remains a significant issue for voters heading into the midterm elections. Statistics compiled by the United States Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) revealed 2,378,944 encounters between illegal immigrants and law enforcement officials at the U.S. border with Mexico in fiscal year 2022, which concluded Sept. 30. The number of encounters increased dramatically from fiscal year 2021, which recorded 1,734,686 border crossings. The number doesn’t include the number of migrants who evaded Border Patrol agents.

The number of illegal immigrants apprehended monthly has exceeded 200,000 each month since May. The number of encounters peaked at 241,136 in May before dropping for the following two months, increasing slightly in August and rising to 227,547 in September.

statement from CBP attributed the surge in border crossings to an influx in illegal immigration from Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua, noting that statistics for October 2022, the first month of fiscal year 2023, will show a decrease in the number of encounters between law enforcement and illegal immigrants. CBP leadership credited the Biden administration’s new policy authorizing immigration officials to return most Venezuelan migrants to Mexico for reducing the flow of illegal immigration.

“While failing regimes in Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua continued to drive a new wave of migration across the western Hemisphere, the number of Venezuelans arriving at the southern border decreased sharply nearly every day since we launched additional joint actions with Mexico to reduce irregular migration and create a more fair, orderly, and safe process for people fleeing the humanitarian and economic crisis in their country,” said CBP Commissioner Chris Magnus.

Magnus acknowledged that the drop in border crossings is “not reflected in the latest report,” which only includes data from September. Official statistics outlining apprehensions at the southern border in October 2022 will be released sometime in November.

While CBP and President Joe Biden cite the changing demographic makeup of the border crossers as the reason for the explosion in illegal immigration at the U.S.-Mexico border, critics of the Biden administration sounded the alarm about an overwhelmed southern border at the beginning of 2021. Specifically, they pointed to the Biden administration’s abandonment of the Trump-era Remain in Mexico policy that required those seeking asylum in the U.S. to remain in Mexico while their claims were adjudicated as the cause of the border surge.

The surge in border crossings has overwhelmed towns along the U.S.-Mexico border and prompted Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, to begin sending illegal immigrants to Washington, D.C., as part of an effort to make federal lawmakers aware of the consequences of not securing the border. Abbott later expanded the cross-country transportation of migrants to other major cities that declare themselves “sanctuary cities” that open themselves up to illegal immigrants, including New York City and Chicago

In addition to the record number of migrant crossings in fiscal year 2022, the past year also saw a record number of deaths at the border. According to CBP data obtained exclusively by Fox News, a record-breaking 856 migrants died at the U.S.-Mexico border in fiscal year 2022.

The latest statistics reinforce voters’ concerns about the issue of illegal immigration heading into the upcoming midterm elections that will determine control of Congress for the next two years. Polling of 808 U.S. adults conducted by Monmouth University last week shows that a supermajority of respondents (65%) believe that it is “extremely” or “very” important for the federal government to address the issue of immigration.

poll released earlier this month by Schoen Cooperman Research revealed that a similar share of voters (66%) living in the swing districts that will determine which party controls the U.S. House of Representatives either fully or partly blame Biden and congressional Democrats for the “immigration surge at the Southern border.” The same survey found that 46% of voters living in the 85 most competitive congressional districts trust Republicans to handle the issue of illegal immigration, while 44% think the Democrats would better address it.

The RealClearPolitics average of polls measuring Biden’s job performance on the issue of immigration shows his net approval rating 24 points underwater. Only on the issue of inflation does the president receive a higher net disapproval rating of 28.8 points. The president’s net disapproval ratings on illegal immigration and inflation far exceed his overall net disapproval rating of 11.4 points.

With just about two weeks to go until the midterm elections, the RealClearPolitics average of polls taken over the past two weeks shows Republicans with a 3-point lead on the generic ballot, which asks voters which party they want to control Congress.

The FiveThirtyEight Deluxe Model, which forecasts the outcome of elections by analyzing “polls, fundraising, past voting patterns” and the opinions of political experts, gives Republicans an 80% chance of retaking control of the U.S. House of Representatives while giving Democrats a 56% chance of maintaining control of the U.S. Senate.

Illegal Receives 3 LIVERS Ahead of American Citizens

Illegal Receives 3 LIVERS Ahead of American Citizens

No America citizen should have to fight to be put ahead of illegals. But such is the case when Democrats crave new voters.

And that’s why Americans find ourselves in jeopardy. Along with double the crimes committed by illegals, their status notwithstanding, there exist other perils.

As the LA Times reports, illegals can now get on America’s organ donor registry:

Ana Puente was an infant with a liver disorder when her aunt brought her illegally to the U.S. to seek medical care. She underwent two liver transplants at UCLA Medical Center as a child in 1989 and a third in 1998, each paid for by the state.

Just so we are clear, a non-citizen of the United States brought her illegal niece to America. And she received two livers ahead of other citizens. So Puente potentially killed two Americans waiting on livers.

Things went bad for Puente when she turned 21. Because she aged out of her state-funded health insurance and was unable to continue treatment at UCLA.

The article continues,

This year, her liver began failing again and she was hospitalized at County-USC Medical Center. In her Medi-Cal application, a USC doctor wrote, “Her current clinical course is irreversible, progressive and will lead to death without another liver transplant.” The application was denied.

The county gave her medication but does not have the resources to perform transplants.

Late last month Puente learned of another, little-known option for patients with certain healthcare needs. If she notified U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services that she was in the country illegally, state health officials might grant her full Medi-Cal coverage. Puente did so, her benefits were restored and she is now awaiting a fourth transplant at UCLA.

So now Puente has the potential to kill four Americans, all because she made it to America. Who knows who waited anxiously for the livers that Puente received. Moreso, who know what the cost was to save her life three and soon to be four times.

Anybody think Puente would have gotten transplants if the person in need of the livers were kin to elitist Democrats? And what if Pelosi or Weinstein had to pick up the costs?

Thus the controversies:

  • Should illegal immigrants receive liver transplants in the U.S.?
  • Should taxpayers pick up the cost?

Allow me to answer on behalf of Americans. No and no!

The article elucidates both issues:

The average cost of a liver transplant and first-year follow-up is nearly $490,000, and anti-rejection medications can run more than $30,000 annually, according to the United Network for Organ Sharing, which oversees transplantation nationwide.

Donor livers are also in scarce supply. In California, nearly 3,700 people are on a waiting list for livers, according to the network. Last year, 767 liver transplants were performed in the state. More than 90% of the organs were given to U.S. citizens.

Donor livers are generally allocated through a geographically based distribution system on the basis of how sick the patients are and how long they have been on the transplant waiting list.

Immigration status does not play a role in allocating organs.

So, if an illegal can get to America, they can jump over citizens in the list for organs, AND get the American taxpayers to fund their transplants.

Do you know any other country where this is possible?

This is incredible, and certainly something Americans need to know when deciding on whom to support. Clearly the Democrats put the lives of illegals over those of citizens.

There is a saying, “It’s all fun and games until somebody loses an eye.”. That’s a cautionary tale usually told to children who rough house too much. But that saying certainly applies to organs. Because when you or your loved one needs an organ, you may resent that somebody not only jumped ahead of you, but they will get the organ promised to you, for free.

Leaked DHS memo shows Obama might circumvent DAPA injunction

Imperial President ObamaA newly leaked internal DHS memorandum produced for an off-the-record agency conclave reveals that the Obama administration is actively planning to circumvent a federal court injunction that suspended part of last November’s deferral-based amnesty initiative. The document, apparently prepared as follow-up from a DHS “Regulations Retreat” last summer, appears sure to re-ignite concerns in Congress as well as federal judges in the Fifth Circuit. The Administration has already been criticized from the bench for handing out work permits to hundreds of thousands of deferred action beneficiaries, in direct violation of a district court’s order. With the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals deciding any day now whether to deny the Administration’s request to reverse that injunction, this public leak has come at a critical juncture for U.S. enforcement policy.

kingobamafingerconstitution-300x204Last June, four months after Texas federal judge Andrew Hanen’s order to freeze President’s DAPA and Expanded DACA programs—disclosure: the Immigration Reform Law Institute has filed briefs in these cases—DHS’s immigration policy makers apparently held a “Regulations Retreat” to discuss “different options” for “open market Employment Authorization Document (EAD) regulatory changes.” EAD is the statutory term for work permits. From a memo recording these discussions, we now know that the Obama DHS has, rather than pausing to allow the courts to assess the constitutionality of its enforcement nullification initiatives, been gearing up to roll out one or more of four plans drawn up at the meeting, each one designed to provide EADs to millions of nonimmigrants, including those lawfully present and visa over-stayers, crippling the actual employment-based visa system on the federal statute-book.

illegalalienvoters-300x300The internal memo reveals four options of varying expansiveness, with option 1 providing EADs to “all individuals living in the United States”, including illegal aliens, visa-over-stayers, and H-1B guest-workers, while option 4 provides EADs only to those on certain unexpired non-immigrant visas. Giving EADs to any of the covered individuals, however, is in direct violation of Congress’s Immigration & Nationality Act and works to dramatically subvert our carefully wrought visa system. As mentioned, the first plan the memo discusses basically entails giving EADs to anyone physically present in the country who until now has been prohibited from getting one. A major positive to this option, the memo reads, is that it would “address the needs of some of the intended deferred action population.” Although DHS doesn’t say it expressly, included here would be those 4.3 million people covered by the president’s DAPA and Expanded DACA programs whose benefits were supposed to have been halted in the Hanen decision. On top of working around the Hanen injunction, this DHS plan would also dole out unrestricted EADs to those on temporary non-immigrant visas, such as H-1B-holders (their work authorizations being tied to their employers) and another 5 to 6 million illegal aliens thus far not covered by any of the President’s deferred action amnesty programs. By claiming absolute authority to grant work authorization to any alien, regardless of status, DHS is in effect claiming it can unilaterally de-couple the 1986 IRCA work authorization statutes from the main body of U.S. visa law. While DHS must still observe the statutory requirements for issuing visas, the emerging doctrine concedes, the administration now claims unprecedented discretionary power to permit anyone inside our borders to work. Picture2

The anonymous DHS policymakers state that a positive for this option is that it “could cover a greater number of individuals.” In a strikingly conclusory bit of bureaucratese, they state that because illegal aliens working in the country “have already had the US labor market tested” it has been “demonstrat[ed] that their future employment won’t adversely affect US workers.” The labor market, in other words, has already been stress-tested through decades of foreign-labor dumping and the American working-class, which disproportionately includes minorities, working mothers, the elderly, and students, is doing just fine. Apparently, the fact that 66 million Americans and legal aliens are currently unemployed or out of the job-market was not a discussion point at the DHS “Retreat.” Delusional Mental Illness Gibberish

Bottom line: The memo foreshadows more tactical offensives in a giant administrative amnesty for all 12 million burkeillegal aliens who’ve broken our immigration laws (and many other laws) that will emerge before the next inaugural in January 2016. According to the authors, one negative factor for granting EADs to illegal aliens, visa-overstayers, etc., is that they’ll still “face difficulties in pursuing permanent residence due to ineligibility or being subject to unlawful presence inadmissibility for which a waiver is required.” This is in reference to the reality that an EAD isn’t a green card and that eventually the EAD-beneficiaries are supposed to apply to ‘adjust their status,’ which cannot be done without showing evidence of lawful status. But this might change, they write. The DHS “macro-level policy goal”, we’re told, is to assist individuals to stay “until they are ready and able to become immigrants.” This would seem to say that DHS, the largest federal law enforcement agency in the nation, is banking on awarding those who’ve broken our laws and violated our national sovereignty.

Will the 26 plaintiff states that have challenged the President’s DAPA program bring this memo to the Fifth Circuit’s attention, before they issue their closely-awaited decision?  If this document is indeed the cutting edge of Obama’s strategy for DHS to circumvent Judge Hanen’s injunction order, it would confirm the Administration’s bad faith and contempt both for the court and the law.obama- Marxist tyrant
