More Nanny State???????
Once again the Nanny State wants more control. Surprise, surprise. Nanny thinks we are all too fat and they need to step in and do something like taking over control of the fast food industry. Really? That’s all it takes. Nanny spanking a free market industry will make us all lose the weight. Really?
Let’s make sure we understand what Nanny has done so far for our well-being;
- Attacked and nearly wiped out the tobacco industry.
- Took over Wall Street Banks to “save” them.
- Took over the banking industry so they “wouldn’t go under”.
- Pick and choose what industries need billions of dollars of tax payer money to help them succeed.
- Took over the American automobile manufacturing industry and gave them to their political hit squad, the unions.
- Took over health care, 1/6th of the American economy.
- Other areas we have not found out about.
I am morbidly fat. For 16 years I was an active soccer referee. For 12 of those years I got paid for my services. I had to take time off because I dislocated my right hip. During that time arthritis built up rapidly, and I was not able to go back. As an active referee, I was in very good shape. Without the exercise, I packed on the wait, speared on by a very deep depression.
I know what to eat. I know how much. I know the amount of exercise I need, yet an arthritic body makes that difficult. I certainly do not need Nanny doing anything to respectable businesses because Jerry Broussard has a morbid weight problem. Nanny needs to go away and leave freedom loving people alone.
