  • Nearly 30 incidents of abortion-related attacks toward churches happened directly following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, according to a report by the Family Research Council (FRC).
  • Between January 2018 and September 2022, 420 anti-Christian incidents were reported by 397 churches across 45 states, including “vandalism, arson, gun-related incidents, bomb threats, and more,” according to FRC.
  • Arielle Del Turco, the author of the report, told the Daily Caller News Foundation she believes the report barely “scratches the surface.”

Dozens of U.S. churches have been targets of pro-abortion “hostility” since the Supreme Court overturned the landmark Roe v. Wade ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, a Family Research Council (FRC) report found.

On June 24, the Supreme Court overturned the ruling, causing an uproar among pro-abortion supporters. Nearly 30 attacks on churches were reported after the Dobbs decision that had explicit pro-abortion rhetoric, according to the report(RELATED: Pro-Lifers Still Hearing Crickets From FBI After Being Firebombed)

“When the U.S. Supreme Court’s draft decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization was leaked on May 2, 2022, churches saw a spike in graffiti incidents with pro-abortion messages and protests that interrupted church services,” the report stated. “This trend has continued since the Dobbs decision was officially handed down and Roe v. Wade was overturned on June 24, 2022.”

FRC, a “nonprofit research and education organization,” released its report last week after looking into hostility against churches over a five-year period from 2018 to 2022. In 2022 alone, churches experienced 57 incidents of “hostility.” From 2019 to 2021 only five similar incidences involving pro-abortion rhetoric were reported, indicating a sharp increase over the last year likely related to the overturn of Roe, according to FRC.

Arielle Del Turco, the author of the report, told the Daily Caller News Foundation that she felt there is a “disturbing trend” of increased incidents during times of “heightened political tension” like the Dobbs decision. Over all five years, 420 incidents were reported by 397 churches in 45 states, including Washington, D.C., such as “vandalism, arson, gun-related incidents, bomb threats, and more,” according to the report. The report noted that the level of hostility also increased over time. Not all of the reported incidents were tied directly to pro-abortion rhetoric. In that same period, California, Texas, New York and Florida had the most amount of incidents with California ranking number one with 51, according to the report. Vandalism made up 77% of the incidents with arson coming in second at 13%.

Del Turco also said she believes the report barely “scratches the surface.”

“There are any number of reasons that churches would have been vandalized or attacked and we wouldn’t have heard about them either because the church isn’t alerting news outlets or we’ve heard of churches that it happens to all the time so they are going on their fifteenth, sixteenth time its happened and they are just not reporting it every time,” Del Turco explained.

Wade. (Photo by Stephanie Keith/Getty Images)

“Criminal acts of vandalism and destruction of church property are likely symptomatic of a collapse in societal reverence and respect for houses of worship and religion — in this case, churches and Christianity,” FRC stated in the report. “Americans appear increasingly comfortable lashing out against church buildings, pointing to a larger societal problem of marginalizing core Christian beliefs, including those that touch on hot-button political issues related to human dignity and sexuality.”

FRC also noted the increase in reported hate crimes against Christians in the same period.

The FBI’s annual statistics showed hate crimes against Christians went up steadily from 2019 to 2021 with a small dip in 2020 likely due to lockdowns from COVID-19, according to an FRC analysis.

“In 2021, the most recent year with available data, the FBI reported 240 anti-Christian ‘hate crimes,’” FRC stated. “This was up from 213 anti-Christian incidents in 2020 … the FBI reported 217 anti-Christian incidents in 2019 and 172 in 2018.”

Del Turco said the increasing anger towards Christians shows a concerning trend of hostility toward religious institutions and that Americans need to “resolutely condemn.”

“Churches are just bearing the brunt of this political anger, however, the fact that they attack churches and not any other type of institution you could think of, I think it says something,” Turco concluded. “To me it indicates a hostility to Christianity generally and so when something flares up in the news that they are particularly angry about churches are then blamed.”

SPLC Should Add Liberals to Its Hate Group List

SPLC Should Add Liberals to Its Hate Group List

When Floyd Corkins went into the offices of the Family Research Council to shoot the place up and kill as many Christian conservatives as he could, he gave credit to the SPLC for directing him to his target. The SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center) publishes a “hate” map, listing every real or imagined hate group in America and letting unhinged people know right where to find them.

The SPLC, it turns out, has another fan in the man who tried to massacre as many Republicans as he could find at a baseball practice yesterday in Washington, D.C. James Hodgkinson was a supporter of the work of the SPLC and followed them on Facebook.

SPLC’s president Richard Cohen naturally and predictably disavowed any influence or responsibility whatsoever, though it has been stirring up hatred by demonizing groups like FRC and the American Family Association for years. “The SPLC,” he said, “condemns all forms of violence.” They’re like a guy who gives gasoline and matches to a teenager and then feigns innocence and utter shock when the kid burns down a house.

The assassin – former FBI investigators are now suggesting strongly that the shooting was “politically motivated” – belonged to virulently anti-Republican groups, including one which expressed an ominous determination to “Terminate the Republican Party,” a goal James Hodgkinson took all too literally. That Facebook group remains unrepentant, posting this question after the shooting: “How many likes can this Liberal Hero get for us [sic] grand sacrifice to the Progressive cause?”

Hodgkinson, whom a neighbor described as a “hardcore Democrat,” had a lengthy police record, including a domestic battery incident in which he was reported to have punched a woman in the face. He slashed a neighbor’s tires right before last fall’s election because the neighbor often had pro-Republican signs in his yard. In March of this year, police visited his property in Illinois because neighbors heard him fire off about 50 rounds, a number eerily similar to the number of shots fired yesterday in D.C. Was it a dry run?

Authorities say he had been in the D.C. area since that incident, living out of his van, and apparently planning his next move from the YMCA across the street from the baseball field where the shootings occurred.

Hodgkinson once said “The Republican Party is worse than any Terrorist,” and called Ted Cruz a “Taliban Terrorist.” He called President Trump a “traitor,” and said, “It’s time to destroy Trump & Co.”

Rep. Claudia Tenney, a Republican from New York, received a threatening email at her congressional office: “One down, 216 to go…” “Your own lives are forfeit,” the email goes on. “Good riddance.” Lefties on Twitter lit the place up with statements like ‘It’s a shame more Republicans weren’t shot.’

Breitbart lists 15 occasions (warning: language alert) on which celebrities called for violence to be done to Trump and other Republicans. For example, Kathy Griffin had herself photographed holding Trump’s severed and bloody head; Madonna said she’d often thought about “blowing up the White House;” Snoop Dogg shot Trump in the head in a video; Robert De Niro said he wanted “to punch him in the face;” and actor Mickey Rourke threatened to beat him with a “Louisville slugger.”

Liberals with their inflammatory and incendiary rhetoric cannot escape culpability here. Just a month ago, Dr. John Griffin, a professor of Media Arts and Animation at the Art Institute of Washington, said Republican House members who voted to repeal ObamaCare should be “lined up and shot,” and went on to insist “That’s not hyberbole. They have blood on their hands.” The low-information media, naturally, has not reported on Dr. Griffin’s remarks.

And let’s not forget Newsweek journalist Kurt Eichenwald who “wished death” on Republicans on May 5.

And lest you think these are just crackpot aberrations, don’t forget that Bernie Sanders raised money off the accusation that Sarah Palin’s congressional map was so incendiary it was to blame for the shooting of Gabby Gifford. The New York Times, the Atlantic, and the New York Daily News all piled on, also laying the blame on the John McCain’s vice-presidential running mate. Well, if irresponsible rhetoric is to blame for politically motivated shootings, who is to blame now?

Not to be outdone, CNN’s sister network, TNT, even after the shooting, is sponsoring the Shakespearean play in New York that features a Trump look-alike getting brutally stabbed to death in the final scene. A neighbor of Hodgkinson’s speculated that “this Democratic rhetoric made him snap.”

Now of course Hodgkinson must be held to full account for what he did. There was evil in his heart, which conditioned him to listen to the wrong voices. “A wicked man,” says the Proverbs, “listens to evil lips” (Proverbs 17:4). He has already faced the Judge of the Living and the Dead and I can assure you he was not able to beat the rap by blaming those who were engaging in irresponsible rhetoric.

But at the same time, a knowledge of human nature teaches us that there are other James Hodgkinsons out there who can be set off by inflammatory rhetoric, and those who engage in it will have to account for their malicious speech one day before the same Judge. The Bible also says, “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit” (Proverbs 18:21), whether that fruit is life-giving or life-destroying.

Democrats, who normally race to the nearest microphone to condemn Republicans for not disarming American citizens, have been strangely silent. Sen. Chris Murphy, who filibustered for 15 hours on behalf of gun control legislation when 49 homosexual Muslims were slaughtered at an Orlando nightclub in 2016, said only that we must not “politicize” this tragedy, something he was all too eager to do just a year ago.

Democrats are anxious not to use this incident by using it to push gun control, for the simple reason that such a push would only remind people that one of their own was responsible for what could have been a massacre if it weren’t for a good guy with a gun.

The problem yesterday was not too many guns but too few. Only two individuals – Rep. Scalise’s security detail – were in a position to use force to stop the shooter. If not for that security detail, he could have picked off dozens one-by-one.

As conservatives, we believe that change comes through ballots, not bullets. There is no place in our society for vigilante justice in political matters – or any other matter – and we must resolve as a culture to settle our political disputes the old-fashioned way: using reason, persuasion, and the vote.

House De-Funds Planned Parenthood Abortion Biz Caught Selling Aborted Baby Parts

Posted by Steven Ertelt   Oct 23, 2015   |   Washington, DC

I AM A PERSON with PoemThe House of Representatives today approved a bill that will use the reconciliation process to approve legislation to de-fund the Planned Parenthood abortion business, which has been caught selling aborted babies and their body parts. The House passed the Planned Parenthood de-funding bill on a 240-189 vote margin with all but seven Republicans voting for the bill and only one Democrat willing to vote to de-fund Planned Parenthood after it kills unborn babies in abortions and sells their body parts for profit. (Scroll down to bottom to see how your member voted.)

“Fighting for families hurt by the President’s health care law and for women and children harmed by abortion providers has consistently been a priority of mine,” said Representative Randy Hultgren of Illinois.

PP MonsterHe applauded the bill for prohibiting all federal mandatory funding for one year to abortion providers while the House continues its investigation into Planned Parenthood’s activities. He said by redirecting $235 million in federal funds to community health centers for the next two years. Community health centers are widely available and provide a full range of health services for women. There are 670 community health care centers in his home state of Illinois vs. only 18 Planned Parenthood centers and there is a similar breakdown in states across the country.

Today’s vote comes just one day after hackers posted online new footage of shocking Planned Parenthood videos that the Center for Medical Progress has not had a chance to release to the public but that have been provided to a Congressional committee investigating Planned Parenthood.

SIGN THE PETITION! Congress Must De-Fund Planned Parenthood Immediately

After the House approved a previous de-funding measure, Senate Democrats defeated a bill to fund the federal government that included language de-funding Planned Parenthood for one year while the Congressional investigation continues into how it allegedly violated multiple laws to sell aborted babies and their body parts.

how many body partsThe legislation the House approved today would hopefully be able to overcome the Democrats’ filibuster and be approved on a majority vote in the Senate.  H.R. 3762 is a special once-a-year measure called the “reconciliation bill.” Unlike almost every other kind of bill, the “reconciliation bill” cannot be filibustered in the U.S. Senate — so it can pass with only 51 votes, rather than 60 (of 100 senators). Republicans currently hold a narrow majority in the U.S. Senate, 54-46.

The bill would block, for one year, most federal payments to Planned Parenthood. At least 89% of federal funding of Planned Parenthood would be blocked by this bill. The bill would repeal a number of major components of the Obamacare health law, including two of the major provisions that will lead to rationing of lifesaving care — the “Independent Payment Advisory Board” and the “excess benefits tax.”Complete Message

Dozens of leading pro-life groups have already indicated their support for the bill, including the National Right to Life Committee. In a letter to members of Congress that NRLC provided to LifeNews.com, the group indicated it strongly supports the bill to de-fund Planned Parenthood.

“NRLC strongly supports the language in the bill that would block, for one year, most federal payments to affiliates of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA). It would close the largest pipeline for federal funding of Planned Parenthood, Medicaid, and apply as well to the CHIP and the Title V and Title XX block grant programs, thus covering roughly 89% of all federal funds to Planned Parenthood. The amounts denied to Planned Parenthood in effect are reallocated to community health centers,” the pro-life group explained.

“Over one-third of all abortions in the U.S. are performed at PPFA-affiliated facilities. Longstanding objections to the massive federal funding of PPFA have been reinforced by recent widely publicized undercover videos, which illuminate the callous brutality that occurs daily in these abortion mills,” NRLC added.Abortion monster

The reconciliation bill also repeals portions of Obamacare, including its rationing components. With regard to the rationing aspects of Obamacare, NRLC strongly supports a repeal.

“In addition, NRLC has always opposed the Obamacare law and advocated its repeal. With respect to H.R. 3762, we particularly endorse the components that would repeal the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) and the “excess benefits tax” (“Cadillac Tax”), both dangerous mechanisms that would ultimately contribute to the rationing of lifesaving care,” the right to life group said.

Leading pro-life groups that also support the reconciliation bill to de-fund Planned Parenthood include Susan B. Anthony List, National Right to Life, Family Research Council, March for Life, Concerned Women for America, Students for Life, Priests for Life, Operation Rescue, and American Life League, among others.

While the reconciliation process would result in getting a bill to de-fund Planned Parenthood to pro-abortion President Barack Obama’s desk, Obama has already promised repeatedly to veto any bill that revokes taxpayer funding for the abortion company. The Senate does not have enough votes to overcome such a veto, leading some pro-life groups to point out that there is little hope of de-funding Planned Parenthood until the election of a pro-life president next year.

“The Administration strongly opposes Senate passage of the Senate amendment to H.J.Res. 61, making continuing appropriations for fiscal year (FY) 2016, and for other purposes, which contains highly objectionable provisions that advance a narrow ideological agenda,” the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) said before the vote. Eliminating federal funding to Planned Parenthood would “limit access” to healthcare for women, men, families and “disproportionately” affect low-income people, the OMB said.Bull

Weeks ago, a previous Senate vote on de-funding Planned Parenthood saw Senate Democrats filibuster and block legislation to revoke $550 million in taxpayer funding.

A new Congressional report finds that de-funding the Planned Parenthood abortion business — even for one year — would save “several thousand” unborn babies from the nightmare of abortion. The report also finds de-funding Planned Parenthood would save the federal government $235 million.

The 10th video by The Center for Medical Progress features several top-level Planned Parenthood executives discussing the organization’s secretive practices around aborted fetal parts harvesting. The video includes comments from Deborah VanDerhei, the National Director of the organization’s Consortium of Abortion Providers, describing the harvesting of fetal body parts as “donation for remuneration.”

The expose’ videos catching Planned Parenthood officials selling the body parts of aborted babies have shocked the nation. Here is a list of all ten:

  • In the first video: Dr. Deborah Nucatola of Planned Parenthood commented on baby-crushing: “We’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I’m not gonna crush that part, I’m gonna basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact.”
  • In the second video: Planned Parenthood’s Dr. Mary Gatter joked, “I want a Lamborghini” as she negotiated the best price for baby parts.
  • In the third video: Holly O’Donnell, a former Stem Express employee who worked inside a Planned Parenthood clinic, detailed first-hand the unspeakable atrocities and how she fainted in horror over handling baby legs.
  • In the fourth video: Planned Parenthood’s Dr. Savita Ginde stated, “We don’t want to do just a flat-fee (per baby) of like, $200. A per-item thing works a little better, just because we can see how much we can get out of it.” She also laughed while looking at a plate of fetal kidneys that were “good to go.”
  • In the fifth video: Melissa Farrell of Planned Parenthood-Gulf Coast in Houston boasted of Planned Parenthood’s skill in obtaining “intact fetal cadavers” and how her “research” department “contributes so much to the bottom line of our organization here, you know we’re one of the largest affiliates, our Research Department is the largest in the United States.”
  • In the sixth video: Holly O’Donnell described technicians taking fetal parts without patient consent: “There were times when they would just take what they wanted. And these mothers don’t know. And there’s no way they would know.”
  • In the seventh and perhaps most disturbing video: Holly O’Donnell described the harvesting, or “procurement,” of organs from a nearly intact late-term fetus aborted at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte’s Alameda clinic in San Jose, CA. “‘You want to see something kind of cool,’” O’Donnell says her supervisor asked her. “And she just taps the heart, and it starts beating. And I’m sitting here and I’m looking at this fetus, and its heart is beating, and I don’t know what to think.”
  • In the eighth video: StemExpress CEO Cate Dyer admits Planned Parenthood sells “a lot of” fully intact aborted babies.
  • The ninth video: catches a Planned Parenthood medical director discussing how the abortion company sells fully intact aborted babies — including one who “just fell out” of the womb.
  • The 10th video: catches the nation’s biggest abortion business selling specific body parts — including the heart, eyes and “gonads” of unborn babies. The video also shows the shocking ways in which Planned Parenthood officials admit that they are breaking federal law by selling aborted baby body parts for profit.
  • Unreleased Videos: Unreleased videos from CMP show Deb Vanderhei of Planned Parenthood caught on tape talking about how Planned Parenthood abortion business affiliates may “want to increase revenue [from selling baby parts] but we can’t stop them…” Another video has a woman talking about the “financial incentives” of selling aborted baby body parts.

SIGN THE PETITION! Congress Must Investigate Planned Parenthood for Selling Aborted Baby Parts

The full, unedited videos have confirmed that revelations that some aborted baby remains sold by Planned Parenthood go to biotech companies for the purpose of creating “humanized” mice. Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood has been exposed as having sold body parts from aborted babies for as much as 15 years.comparison

The federal law that technically prohibits the sale of aborted babies and their body parts was written by a pro-abortion Congressman decades ago and essentially spells out a process by which sellers of aborted baby body parts can meet certain criteria that allows the sales to be legal. That’s why a Colorado congressman has introduced legislation to totally ban the sales of aborted baby body parts.

ROLL CALL OF VOTE TO DE-FUND PLANNED PARENTHOOD:

A yea vote is a vote to de-fund Planned Parenthood. A no vote is a vote in opposition of de-funding.

Obama: Christians threaten nation

waving flagFriday, October 16, 2015, Posted by Bryan Fischer – Guest Columnist

“Disagreement is not hatred, and the truth is not hate speech. Somebody needs to tell that to President Obama.”Free Speech Definition

If you have ever wondered whether President Obama has an abiding hostility to people of Christian faith, wonder no more. He believes we are a threat to national security. If you are a sincerely devoted follower of Jesus Christ, your president believes you are a potential domestic terrorist.

I do not exaggerate. In a gathering at George Washington University this week, Obama’s assistant attorney general for national security, John Carlin, revealed that the Department of Justice is creating a brand new position just to monitor us. The position, domestic terrorism counsel, will be created to combat the “real and present threat” of domestic terrorism.

And where, pray tell, does this threat come from? From the Muslim Brotherhood, which has a stated goal of exterminating Western civilization and sabotaging our miserable house from within? Nope. From ISIS, which is actively recruiting jihadists in all 50 states? Nope. Jihadists who are sneaking into the United States disguised as Syrian refugees? Nope.

No, the real threat to our national security, according to our president and his minions, is coming from the Family Research Council and the American Family Association.of domenstic terrorist

want_rel_liberty_rCarlin lauded the work of the thoroughly discredited Southern Poverty Law Center, which is so blatantly and maliciously biased against Christians that other parts of Obama’s administration – the FBI, the Pentagon, and the U.S. Army – are getting as far away from the SPLC as they can.

But the folks at SPLC are still useful to the DOJ, which is desperate to paint conservative Christians as a greater threat to our domestic tranquility than people who are determined to decapitate us in the name of Allah.

According to Carlin, the SPLC does the noble work of “examining what the threat is, observing it, and reporting on it,” and claimed that its work is “very important.”RadicalChristianExtremist

The SPLC, mind you, is the group whose “hate group” map was used by domestic terrorist Floyd Corkins to identify the Family Research Council as his target for a massacre. Only the bravery of an unarmed security guard prevented what could have been one of the worst mass shootings in U.S. history. In other words, if anybody’s the hate group here, it’s the SPLC.

Heidi Beirich, the SPLC’s intelligence project director, teamed with Carlin to demonize pro-family groups. She told a reporter that the SPLC classifies groups as hate groups “on the basis of ideology.” In other words, the SPLC will vilify groups because of what they believe, not because of what they do or because they have demonstrated any propensity toward violence.

Aobama-anti-christian-1nd she flatly admits it. “We post groups on the basis of ideology, not whether they’re violent or not.”

And then she identified two groups by name: Family Research Council and American Family Association. “[W]hat they’re putting out is anti-gay material so gay people are pedophiles, or molesters, or whatever the case may be, and that’s why they’re on the list and that’s the direct analogy.”

Different Free Speech Ideologies

We – FRC and AFA – “are simply pushing propaganda that [the SPLC] consider(s) hateful.” She acknowledges that theirs is a purely subjective standard: “It’s our opinion that it’s hateful, and that’s basically it.”Combined

The plain truth is that we at FRC and AFA don’t hate a living soul. We love homosexuals enough to tell them the truth about the physical and spiritual dangers of the homosexual lifestyle. We want something better for them than the darkness and disease associated with homosexual behavior. We want them to come out of that CP 02darkness into the light of the gospel of Christ. We are for the homosexual, and so we must be against the normalization and promotion of homosexuality.

Note the SPLC is no longer accusing FRC and AFA of hate or of violence based on some objective standard. They have simply made a purely subjective assessment that our beliefs about human sexuality and our defense of natural marriage are so offensive to them that we must become the target of the unlimited resources of the federal government.

Do we disagree with the homosexual lobby about homosexuality? Of course. Do we hate them? Absolutely not. Do we advocate violence against them? Never have, never will. We are simply determined to tell the moral, spiritual, and physical truth about non-normative sexual The Persecution has Begunbehavior.

Bottom line: disagreement is not hatred, and the truth is not hate speech. Somebody needs to tell that to the president.Truth The New Hate Speech

My two cents

I don’t understand why this is a news story published by WND.com. I do not know why this ever came up, or why Josh Duggar has become a target of the Leftist thugs. No matter. If in fact he has been a thorn in the sides of the Leftist thugs, then this is strictly motivated by the Leftist hatred of Christians, and Christian organizations, because as we all know for certain, none of them have the innocence to cast the first stone.

Josh Duggar, the 27-year-old eldest son of “19 Kids and Counting” stars Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, has responded to reports he was once accused of molesting five underage girls while he was a teenager.

“Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends,” Duggar said in an exclusive statement to People. “I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life.”

Duggar has resigned from his position as the director of the lobbying arm of the Family Research Council in Washington D.C., as a result of the accusations becoming public, reports People.

“Today Josh Duggar made the decision to resign his position as a result of previously unknown information becoming public concerning events that occurred during his teenage years. Josh believes that the situation will make it difficult for him to be effective in his current work. We believe this is the best decision for Josh and his family at this time. We will be praying for everyone involved,” Family Research Council President Tony Perkins said in a statement.

“I would do anything to go back to those teen years and take different actions,” said Duggar. “I sought forgiveness from those I had wronged and asked Christ to forgive me and come into my life. In my life today, I am so very thankful for God’s grace, mercy and redemption.”

Duggar’s parents issued a statement of support:

“Back 12 years ago our family went through one of the most difficult times of our lives,” Jim Bob, 49, and Michelle, 48, said in a joint statement. “When Josh was a young teenager, he made some very bad mistakes, and we were shocked. We had tried to teach him right from wrong. That dark and difficult time caused us to seek God like never before.”

Their statement continues, “Even though we would never choose to go through something so terrible, each one of our family members drew closer to God. We pray that as people watch our lives they see that we are not a perfect family. We have challenges and struggles every day. It is one of the reasons we treasure our faith so much because God’s kindness and goodness and forgiveness are extended to us – even though we are so undeserving. We hope somehow the story of our journey – the good times and the difficult times – cause you to see the kindness of God and learn that He can bring you through anything.”

Jim Bob Duggar informed the elders of his church about Josh’s actions and they waited a year before contacting authorities.

The information is contained in a Springdale, Ark., police report obtained by In Touch magazine through a Freedom of Information Act request.

The report stated the elder Duggar told police he was alerted in March 2002 by a female minor that Josh — who turned 14-years-old that month — had been touching her breasts and genitals while she slept. This allegedly happened on multiple occasions. In 2006, Jim Bob told police that in July 2002, Josh admitted to fondling a minor’s breasts while she slept. Duggar was investigated for multiple sex offenses — including forcible fondling — against five minors. The police report alleged Duggar had assaulted four of his sisters and a fifth underage female three to four years earlier. Some of the alleged offenses investigated were felonies, according to In Touch.

According to the 2006 police report, the investigation began when the Duggars traveled to Chicago’s Harpo Studios to appear on “Oprah.” An email from a 61-year-old in Rogers, Arkansas, to the studio on Dec. 7, 2006, alleged that a member of the family had molested his sisters while they were sleeping. “I think that you should know the truth before they make a complete fool of you and your show,” the person wrote.

Duggar, his parents and the victims were interviewed by police five days later in Arkansas.

Duggar’s wife Anna said he confessed his “teenage mistakes” two years before proposing marriage and that counseling her husband received “changed his life.”

“I was surprised at his openness and humility and at the same time didn’t know why he was sharing it. For Josh, he wanted not just me but my parents to know who he really was – even very difficult past mistakes.”

Franklin Graham: Obama is Waging an “Anti-Christ” War Against God

http://conservativetribune.com/obama-war-against-god/?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed

We’ve reported extensively on Christian leaders’ comments on Barack Obama and his war on the Christian faith.

The Vatican has been a vocal opponent of Obama’s policies on life, marriage, and religious liberty.  The pope chewed Obama out over these issues when they met last week, and the Chief Justice of the highest court of the Vatican said that Obama was waging war on “Christian civilization.”

In the evangelical world, Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham, has been going after Obama’s pushing the gay agenda down everyone’s throats.  He said that he and Holder have “turned their backs on God and His standards.”  He has also reiterated that despite becoming a minority in his views on homosexuality, he won’t cave, no matter the consequences.

Graham recently discussed how Obama has been pushing the gay agenda down the throats of the military, even threatening them with their jobs if they don’t accept gays.  This is part of a larger effort by some in the White House to secularize the military and push chaplains out of their former roles as ministers to soldiers.  He said that Obama’s administration is “anti-Christ” in what it says and does.

Via CNSNews.com:

Franklin Graham made his comments during a Mar. 24 interview with Tony Perkins, the president of the Family Research Council, which published an updated report on religious persecution in the U.S. armed forces this month.

During the interview on Washington Watch Weekly, Perkins asked Graham, “I would have to believe you’re also tracking, in fact I know you’re tracking because you were a part of it – when you were scheduled to speak at the Pentagon a few years ago they disinvited you – are you concerned about this intense religious hostility that we see manifesting in our nation’s military?”

Graham said, ““No question. And my son just got back from his seventh [military] tour this weekend.  So, I love the military. There has been huge pressure on the chaplains in our military – and our chaplains have been a wonderful thing for the military. But there is a move to get rid of the chaplains in our country, and to completely secularize our military. Actually, they are hostile to Christians.

“A lot of this is coming from this administration and is being pushed by people within the White House,” said Graham.  “And when I say White House, I’m not saying the president, because I’m not sure how much of this he’s aware of.  But it’s people that work for him that have power, that are sitting in offices, and they are hostile to Christ.”

“They are anti-Christ in what they say and in what they do,” said Graham.  “And they are pushing this agenda into the military. It’s scary.”

These are some bold statements from a prominent Christian leader.  Too often, we see theologians and pastors rationalize what’s happening in culture, whether it’s gays or other cultural trends, rather than taking a prophetic approach and speaking out against our increasingly destructive society.  Good for him for standing up for Obama and going after liberals for shoving their social agenda down the throats of Americans.
