By Jim Hoft Jan. 4, 2024

Back in 2007 Nikki Haley was a member of the South Carolina state mission to China. Even as a freshman in the state legislature, Haley was a leading ally of Republican Governor Mark Sanford, She was invited to attend the World Economic Forum conference with the governor to China. Nikki Haley’s taxpayer-funded, business class trip cost South Carolinians $6,842.

Haley put out a press release highlighting her participation at the WEF conference in China, calling it “a rare opportunity” to meet with Chinese investors looking to expand their influence in the United States.

Nikki Haley released a statement at the time. ““Making life better in Lexington and throughout South Carolina means creating new business opportunities and learning how to strengthen the job-creating potential of our existing companies. Building new relationships and finding… READ MORE…

Watch Maria Bartiromo Take A Sledge Hammer To Union Organizer’s Hatred Of Trump

Reported by Thomas Phippen | Reporter | 10:15 AM 01/26/2018

Fox Business Network host Maria Bartiromo got into a shouting match with a global union organizer after President Donald Trump’s speech in Davos, Switzerland, Friday.

Peter Jennings, general secretary of UNI Global Union, argued that Trump has not been doing enough for workers because he is hampering regulations that union advocates pushed through during the previous administration.

Jennings, Bartiromo and FBN correspondent Dagen McDowell argued over what Trump has done during his first year in office to help American workers. Jennings, who has said he hopes Trump will push for labor rights in the NAFTA renegotiations, argued that Trump is not protecting the American worker because he’s not allowing the unions to flourish, and Bartiromo and McDowell disagreed.

“He’s stacking the odds against working people coming together and getting a collective voice,” Jennings said.

“His whole theme has been getting to the forgotten man and woman,” Bartiromo said. McDowell said that it was the very union members in the Midwest who voted for Trump, arguing that the unions had not done enough to protect workers.

“Stop this demonizing of the trade union movement,” Jennings said. “Stop it. It just shows your ignorance of what it is we do, and how we try to lift all boats.

“Stop demonizing American workers who don’t belong to unions who are happy in their jobs,” McDowell said.

The most heated part of the exchange came when Jennings said “62 percent of this tax cut will go to top 1 percent, full stop.”

“That is absolutely not true,” Bartiromo said. “I cannot have you spew lies on this program. That is no the truth, everybody got a tax cut. And there are the rich that are actually facing higher taxes those who are losing their [state and local tax] deduction. Those are people who are finding higher taxes, the majority of Americans are seeing a tax cut.”

Government regulation are like “stealth taxation,” Trump said during remarks at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Trump says Palestinian aid is ‘on the table’. “That money is not going to them, unless they sit down and negotiate peace.”

At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Thursday, President Trump called out the Palestinian leadership for their entitled attitude about receiving U.S. aid, along with their refusal to meet with Vice President Mike Pence.

President Trump made the comments as he was meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the sidelines of the major conference. The two world leaders expressed gratitude for the repaired U.S.-Israel alliance.

Netanyahu thanked Trump for standing up for Israel against the United Nations’ “house of slander.” Trump praised Israel for standing with the U.S. He expressed concern over potential waste in hundreds of millions in aid money to the Palestinians, after they “disrespected us” by refusing to meet with the vice president.

The president then issued an ultimatum to the Palestinians:

“That money is on the table, and that money is not going to them, unless they sit down and negotiate peace. Because I can tell you that Israel does want to make peace, and they’re going to have to want to make peace, too.”

At the same time, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley arrived at U.N. headquarters Thursday with a message to the Palestinians: The White House’s patience with their leadership is running thin. Haley argued that the “single most important element” for Israeli-Palestinian peace is “leaders who have the will to do what’s needed to achieve peace.”

Haley took Abbas to task for his “outrageous” anti-Israel, anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, saying they do not represent a person “with the courage and the will to seek peace.
