Let the games begin…the “what if” game, that is. This little carjacking video from Episode 71 has generated so many comments and questions that it has become a teaching tool in and of itself. This alone should be proof of the huge number of questions we are faced with when using deadly force.
Shoot/Don’t Shoot?
You have plenty to think about…and only very little time to weigh all the options. Lives hang in the balance.
Into the Fray, Episode 73: Carjacking Redux – Carjacker, armed with a firearm: That’s a deadly force scenario. So why didn’t the victim shoot the bad guy? Obviously, we always want to get out of a situation without being involved in a gunfight…if we can. Lots of different things to think of, so let’s revisit the carjacking video.
