6 people charged in U.S. with supporting ISIS

WASHINGTON — Six Bosnian immigrants have been charged in the U.S. for allegedly supporting the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the Department of Justice said Friday. The suspects, five of whom were arrested in the U.S., are all charged with providing material support to terrorists and conspiring to provide material support and resources to terrorists, the DOJ said in a statement. They were identified as Ramiz Zijad Hodzic, 40, his wife Sedina Unkic Hodzic, 35, and Armin Harcevic, 37, who live in St. Louis County, Missouri; Nihad Rosic, 26, of Utica, New York; Mediha Medy Salkicevic, 34 of Schiller Park, Illinois; and Jasminka Ramic, 42, of Rockford, Illinois.

The suspects immigrated from Bosnia, the Justice Department said. Three of them became naturalized U.S. citizens and the others have legal resident of refugee status. According to an indictment unsealed Friday, the defendants sent weapons, U.S. military uniforms and tactical equipment to a man named Abdullah Ramo Pazara, a Bosnian who traveled from St. Louis to Syria in 2013 to join ISIS. They also used Western Union and PayPal to transfer money to Turkey and Saudi Arabia, where third parties sent it to Syria and Iraq. Some of the equipment was also transferred through intermediaries.

Pazara was not charged because it is believed that he was killed last year. He communicated with the defendants through social media, according to the FBI and DOJ, and bragged online about killing and kidnapping several people.

Ramiz Zijad Hodzic and Rosic face the additional charge of conspiring to kill persons in a foreign country. Hodzic allegedly provided tactical advice to Pazara and other foreign fighters, the indictment said, and sent rifle scopes and range finders to Pazara, intending that they be used on sniper rifles. Rosic attempted to travel to Syria, according to the indictment.

“Today’s charges and arrests underscore our resolve to identify, thwart, and hold accountable individuals within the United States who seek to provide material support to terrorists and terrorist organizations operating in Syria and Iraq,” Assistant Attorney General for National Security John P. Carlin said in a statement. “Preventing the provision of supplies, money, and personnel to foreign terrorist organizations like ISIL remains a top priority of the National Security Division and our partners in the law enforcement and intelligence communities.”

The suspects face up to 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine on each count if convicted. Hodzic and Rosic could be sentenced to life in prison if they are convicted on the additional conspiracy charge.

Obama revealed his true colors at Prayer Breakfast, and true ignorance of history

Image via Townhall.com There is grave danger in statements supporting moral equivalency and religious relativism. What happens is horrific behavior is excused because you have a certain recalcitrance in admitting the existence of evil.

President Barack Obama had the chance to affirm our Judeo-Christian faith heritage at the National Prayer Breakfast just days after the world was exposed to the savage and barbaric actions of ISIS in the burning to death of the captured Jordanian fighter pilot. But he did not.

As we reported yesterday, instead the Islamapologist-in-Chief attempted to find moral equivalency between the brutality of ISIS and Christianity, saying that violence rooted in religion isn’t exclusive to Islam, but has been carried out by Christians as well.

“Unless we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ,” Obama said.

Obama also denounced Islamic State terrorists for professing to stand up for Islam when they were actually “betraying it.” “We see ISIL, a brutal vicious death cult that in the name of religion carries out unspeakable acts of barbarism,” he said criticizing them for “claiming the mantle of religious authority for such actions.”

Now, being a simple student of history, I’d like to share a simple analysis — and please, I ask all the Islamapologists reading this to sit down and take a deep breath.

First of all, Pope Urban II called for the Crusade in response to Muslim brigands and raiders who were attacking Christian pilgrims in the Holy Land. I find it rather odd that Obama would refer to something that is over 900 years old in order to make a statement of relativism. The sad truth is that no one is running around in Knights Templar white robes declaring “God wills it.” However, the same enemy that Pope Urban II saw as a threat exists to today and still declares, “Allahu Akhbar.”

As for the Spanish Inquisition, consider that this came after the expulsion of Muslim domination on the Iberian Peninsula for some 700 years.

As a matter of fact, Islamists still refer to Spain as “Al Andalusia” which means to this day still consider it Muslim land — after all it was part of their caliphate conquest. Good thing ol’ Charles “The Hammer” Martel turned back an invading Muslim Army in 732 AD at the Battle of Tours — just as was done by the Venetian fleet at Lepanto in 1571 — just as done by the heroic European Knights at Vienna in 1683. Yes, the Inquisition was horrible and severely affected the Jewish population in Spain. It was however, an overreaction to ensure that Catholicism reigned superior and was never again subjugated as it had been under the Moors of North Africa.

I found it interesting that Obama failed to mention the exchange between the Dey of Algiers and Thomas Jefferson concerning the attacks of American vessels and enslavement of Americans by Muslims, the infamous Barbary Pirates. The Dey of Algiers conveyed to Mr. Jefferson that they were only carrying out the dictates of their prophet towards infidels, kafirs. Interestingly enough, hundreds of years later, the Maersk Alabama and Captain Phillips had to deal with the same — Islamic piracy. Back then Jefferson sent the Marines. And thank God a sharp thinking U.S. Navy Commander made a decision to give the green light to the exceptional US Navy SEAL snipers in the case of the Maersk.

You see religious relativism in this case dismisses the actions of ISIS who is actually more closely following the exploits of Mohammad.

If you study history and begin at the Medina phase, approximately 622 AD, you’ll find a murderous warlord who used terror and “religious manipulation” as he led almost 25 combat raids, the first being the Nakhla raid, circa 622 AD. This all came after the “peaceful” first phase of Islam, just 12 years in length.

The world has been exposed to the brutality of militant Islam for some 1400 years – a theocratic-political totalitarian ideology that spread by way of the sword, not peaceful proselytization. Hence why the flag of Saudi Arabia has a koranic verse above the sword of Mohammad.

And if you understand the Koran and the hadiths you’ll find the history laid out here corresponds to a shift in the verses and traditions towards violence — which the latter verse under the premise of “nakeesh” (abrogation) supersede the previous “peaceful” verses — yet all are still held in equal regard as the words of Allah as revealed to Muhammad.

Lastly, as we shared yesterday, Obama should be careful in equivocating slavery and Jim Crow to the actions of ISIS — after all it was those righteous Democrat Christians who supported such heinous actions as lynchings.

I have a simple recommendation for President Obama — don’t attend any more National Prayer Breakfasts. The angst created by these ill-conceived words is just not worth it — better to just not be there, than to be there and call into question your loyalties to the Judeo-Christian faith heritage of America.

Obama once again attempted to lecture us and failed miserably. ISIS is Islamic, they are militant Islamists and they represent an evil that came from a man who went rogue and used a religious belief as a means to an end — power. Now, that should have been the crux of Obama’s comments, but I suppose those “undisclosed” Muslim leaders with whom he met had a different idea.

Mr. President, true, you are not running again, and true, you did win twice. But even truer, you are damning your reputation as a president and may never hold any regard or esteem of the American people. Then again, perhaps that was always your aim, as you fundamentally transform our beloved Constitutional Republic.

ISIS expanding ‘international footprint’ with affiliates in more countries, officials warn

The Islamic State, despite being driven by Kurdish fighters from its one-time Syrian stronghold in Kobani last week, nevertheless is extending its reach well beyond Iraq and Syria, military officials and analysts warn — represented, by some estimates, in nearly a dozen countries.

Lt. Gen. Vincent Stewart, director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, delivered a grim assessment earlier this week in testimony to the House Armed Services Committee, as he described how the group was surfacing in North Africa. “With affiliates in Algeria, Egypt, Libya, the group is beginning to assemble a growing international footprint that includes ungoverned and under governed areas,” Stewart said. ISIS continues to hold a wide swath of territory, bigger than the state of Pennsylvania, in its home base spanning parts of Iraq and Syria, propped up by more than 20,000 foreign fighters from at least three dozen countries. But the terror network’s tentacles, as Stewart indicated, are creeping into other nations; largely those with fragile governments.

“ISIS, like Al Qaeda, has thrived in the failed states where there is a vacuum of power,” said James Phillips, Middle East senior research fellow with the Heritage Foundation. A key worry is the group’s potential ambitions in Afghanistan, where the U.S. combat mission just ended and Afghan security forces are in control. Defense secretary nominee Ashton Carter, who had his confirmation hearing Wednesday, told Congress he is aware of reports that ISIS may try to expand into Afghanistan, and vowed to work with coalition partners to stop the group. He said he would consider changing plans for withdrawing the remaining 10,600 U.S. troops from Afghanistan by the end of 2016 if security conditions further deteriorate.

The Islamic State’s ambitions do not stop at Afghanistan, the so-called Graveyard of Empires. Militant groups in Pakistan, the Philippines, Israel and the Gaza Strip, Lebanon, Indonesia and Jordan, among other areas, reportedly have pledged formal support for ISIS. New York Magazine, in a recent report, wrote, “Think of them as ISIS’s self-appointed foreign bases.”

It’s impossible to know precisely how many members are involved in these groups, but analysts say the biggest groups generally are still affiliated with Al Qaeda, while others are starting to stand with ISIS – and execute attacks.

An ISIS-tied group in Egypt, for instance, claimed responsibility for a series of coordinated attacks on Jan. 30 that killed at least two dozen security officers in restive Sinai.
The Caliphate Soldiers Group in Algeria, which pledged loyalty to ISIS in September, kidnapped and beheaded a French tourist the same month. Terrorists posted a video of the beheading, saying it was in response to French airstrikes in Iraq. Algerian Special Forces killed the terror leader late last year, which analysts say dealt a morale blow to the small group.
In Libya, the Islamic State’s Tripoli Province took credit for a hotel attack on Feb. 1 which killed nine people, including an American.
Published reports tie other groups to ISIS including The Jundallah militant group and the Tehreek-e-Khilafat groups in Pakistan; the Philippines’ Abu Sayyaf group; Sinai Province in Egypt; Lebanon’s The Free Sunnis of Baalbek Brigade; Indonesia’s Jama’ah Ansharut Tauhid; and Sons of the Call for Tawhid and Jihad in Jordan.

The Heritage Foundation’s Phillips said it’s not just groups like these that have declared loyalty. “There are an unknown number of self-radicalized militants in many different countries that may self-identify with ISIS and carry out ‘lone wolf’ terrorist attacks in its name, without necessarily being members of the group,” he said. He cited the hostage crisis in Sydney, Australia, last December as an example.

ISIS continues to get pounded by coalition airstrikes in Iraq and Syria, where Kurdish forces recently took back the vital city of Kobani. Those strikes are likely to increase following the brutal execution of a captured Jordanian pilot (though the coalition is down a member, with the United Arab Emirates having suspended airstrikes after the pilot’s capture in December.) Phillips said the purpose of the group’s grisly propaganda videos – including of the Jordanian pilot being burned alive in a cage — is to change the subject, from recent setbacks in Kobani as well as some areas in Iraq, through “jihadist pornography.” He said the point is to show the group as an “invincible army,” psychologically attractive to European teenagers who might join the fight.

Raymond Stock, a Shillman-Ginsburg writing fellow at the Middle East Forum, argued the message carries more weight with Muslims worldwide than most realize. He told Fox News the propaganda videos are “so well-produced and so well-targeted — extremely effective. We have nothing counteracting that.”

Stock, who spent 20 years living in Egypt, sees the group’s ambitions as limitless and argues it is a mistake to believe the Islamic State is an organization seeking to control limited territory. He also suggested Al Qaeda and ISIS are not necessarily direct competitors. He cited an Arabic proverb, which he translates as: “Me and my brother against my cousin; me and my cousin against the outsider.”

In Wednesday’s Senate Armed Services Committee confirmation hearing for defense secretary, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., pressed Carter on the need to have a strategy against ISIS. “I believe I understand our strategy at this time,” Carter explained. “I also have the intention, again if confirmed, to make it my first priority to go there, to talk to our military leaders there, to confer with you … I think a strategy connects ends and means, and our ends with respect to ISIL needs to be its lasting defeat.” McCain retorted: “Well, it doesn’t sound like a strategy to me, but maybe we can flesh out your goals.”

Army decides Fort Hood victims will receive Purple Heart

Secretary of the Army John McHugh announced Friday that victims of the 2009 Fort Hood massacre will receive the Purple Heart, in an about-face for the military which initially described the attacks as “workplace violence.” The decision to award the Purple Heart was first reported by Fox News.

In a written statement, McHugh cited a recent change in the law that allowed the Army to proceed with the medals. “The Purple Heart’s strict eligibility criteria had prevented us from awarding it to victims of the horrific attack at Fort Hood,” McHugh said in a statement. “Now that Congress has changed the criteria, we believe there is sufficient reason to allow these men and women to be awarded and recognized” with either the Purple Heart or, for civilians, the Defense of Freedom medal. “It’s an appropriate recognition of their service and sacrifice,” McHugh said. Victims of the 2009 shooting and their families had been pressing the military to award the Purple Heart, and the benefits that come with it, for years.

They got a boost when Congress passed recent funding legislation requiring the Defense Department to reconsider whether the victims qualify for the honor. The Army statement on Friday said the legislation expanded the eligibility criteria by broadening what can be considered an attack by a foreign terrorist organization. The Army determined the shooting could be considered an attack because the shooter “was in communication with the foreign terrorist organization before the attack.”

Texas Republican Rep. John Carter, who had pushed for the honor, hailed Friday’s announcement. “This has been a long, hard fight,” he said in a statement. “The victims of this attack have struggled, suffered and been abandoned by this Administration. No more. Today is a day of victory and I am honored to have fought on their behalf.”

Fox News was first to report that the massacre — in which 13 were killed and more than 30 wounded when former Army psychiatrist Nidal Hasan opened fire after shouting “Allahu Akbar” — was initially classified as “workplace violence.”

Further evidence has steadily emerged since the attack that Hasan was motivated by his extreme religious views. Intelligence agencies intercepted emails between Hasan and the radical American cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who, at the time, was a leader of Al Qaeda in Yemen. Awlaki was killed in a drone strike in 2011.

Hasan was convicted in 2013 and sentenced to death by a general court martial. He is currently incarcerated at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas, awaiting appeal. After his August 2013 conviction, Hasan told his lawyer, John Galligan, to release letters to Fox News in which Hasan pledged his allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State.

Earlier this year, a lawyer for victims of the shooting and their families told Fox News that some victims are still so damaged physically and mentally they are unable to work five years after the massacre — and the benefits that come with the Purple Heart would be a lifeline. “No one will be the same,” attorney Neal Sher told Fox News last month.

Sher told Fox News in January there was stiff resistance to the new congressional language requiring a review of Purple Heart consideration. “The administration and the Pentagon,” Sher explained, “they lobbied hard against it. But we worked very hard and we were successful in garnering bi-partisan support for this.”

Obama rejected Jordanian King Abdullah’s pleas for Predator drones

The Obama administration this year turned down a request from Jordan for Predator spy drones that would help it locate targets in the war against the Islamic State. The refusal, disclosed by a House Armed Services Committee member, has gained attention since Jordan has emerged as a critical player in a U.S.-led coalition to destroy the Islamist terrorist group in the days after it released a video of its execution by fire of a captured Jordanian military pilot.

Jordan retaliated Thursday with F-16 airstrikes on the Syrian town of Raqqa and is vowing a relentless war against the Islamic State, also known as ISIL and ISIS. Members of Congress are calling on the White House to approve a list of weapons for King Abdullah II, a strong U.S. ally.

Rep. Duncan Hunter, California Republican, sent a letter Thursday asking President Obama to approve the transfer of the Predator’s unarmed export version for surveillance missions. “The decision to deny the license request should be reversed immediately,” Mr. Hunter wrote. “Doing so will provide Jordan critical mission capability in the fight against the Islamic State and ensure Jordan is given every advantage. Jordan has made requests for specific resources, including ammunition,” Mr. Hunter said. “Given our mutual interests, and our strong relationship, it’s absolutely critical that we provide Jordan the support needed to defeat the Islamic State.”

Jordan borders Iraq and Syria, where the Islamic State controls wide stretches of territory, including key Iraqi cities in the north and west. “Jordan is uniquely positioned to support and perhaps lead the fight against the Islamic State, and it’s now our obligation to offer Jordan our full support in this effort,” Mr. Hunter said. American Predators are playing a large role in a U.S.-dominated air campaign, firing Hellfire missiles as well as conducting sustained surveillance over Islamic State strongholds.

Jordan is not the only world hot spot where the Obama administration has turned down allies’ requests for weapons. For months, Ukraine has been seeking military assistance from the U.S. and/or NATO in its battles against pro-Russia separatists getting lethal weaponry and even some troops from Vladimir Putin’s Russia. Ukraine’s military is equipped mostly with Russian weapons inherited from the breakup of the Soviet Union, with some purchases from Moscow in friendlier recent times. But the U.S. has refused to provide lethal aid to Ukraine, sending only humanitarian assistance amounting to tens of millions of dollars and, for the Ukrainian military, a similar amount of training and nonlethal equipment such as trucks.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko told U.S. lawmakers in September that his country was in desperate need. “Please understand me: Blankets and night vision goggles are also important, but one cannot win the war with blankets,” he told a joint meeting of Congress. Secretary of State John F. Kerry was in Ukraine Thursday, where he was set to announce a $16 million package in civilian refugee aid that will include blankets and counseling for traumatized civilians.

A congressional aide said Jordan does not quality for armed Predators but could be given the limited platform. The source said the administration’s denial has to do with making sure Israel maintains military superiority in the region. Jordan was the second Arab state to sign a peace treaty with Israel, in 1994, a pact that is not considered precarious barring drastic regime change in Jordan. The U.S. has provided Jordan with F-16 Falcon fighter jets and other advanced weapons.

Mr. Hunter’s district is in the San Diego area, home to Predator maker General Atomics.

Sen. John McCain, Arizona Republican and Senate Armed Services Committee chairman, told CNN on Wednesday that King Abdullah, who met with senators while in Washington, is frustrated by a “huge bureaucratic bottleneck in the State Department.” “He needs some types of weapons very badly,” Mr. McCain said. “We’ll be working immediately to try and achieve that for him.” The issue of Jordanian frustration with the speed of U.S. weapons deliveries came up during Wednesday’s confirmation hearings for Defense Secretary-designate Ashton Carter. All 26 members of Mr. McCain’s committee sent a letter on Wednesday to Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel and to Mr. Kerry asking them to speed up arms shipments to Jordan.

“Jordan is seeking to obtain aircraft parts, additional night vision equipment and precision munitions that the King feels he needs to secure his border and robustly execute combat air missions into Syria,” the senators wrote. “We understand the need to ensure the integrity of third party transfers, the protection of critical U.S. technologies, and our commitment to the maintenance of a Qualitative Military Edge (QME) for Israel. However,” the senate panel continued, “Jordan’s situation and the cohesiveness of the coalition demands we move with speed to ensure they receive the military materiel they require for ongoing operations against ISIL.”

Jordan’s King Abdullah II has vowed to launch war on the Islamic State, saying Wednesday that “the blood of martyr [Lt.] Muath al-Kaseasbeh will not be in vain, and the response of Jordan and its army after what happened to our dear son will be severe.” On Thursday, dozens of Jordanian F-16s carried out strikes on targets around Raqqa, the Islamic State’s self-styled capital, and even spread its attacks into Islamic State-held targets in Iraq. Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh told Fox News that Jordan was still mostly hitting Islamic State targets in Syria as part of a U.S.-led military coalition, but was now spreading its involvement.

“We said we are going to take this all the way, we are going to go after [the Islamic State] wherever they are, and we’re doing that,” he said. “They’re in Iraq and they are in Syria, and therefore you have to target them wherever they are.”

According to The Associated Press in Amman, Jordanian state TV showed fighter jets taking off from an air base and large balls of fire and smoke after bombs had fallen. Jordanian troops scribbled chalk messages on the missiles, with one reading “for you, the enemies of Islam.” Abdullah paid a condolence visit to the family of Lt. al-Kaseasbeh on Thursday and was sitting next to the pilot’s father, Safi al-Kaseasbeh, as fighter jets roared overhead. The king pointed upward.

The official Facebook page of The Royal Hashemite Court made it personal as well this week. In an image that has since gone viral, the Court posted a picture of Abdullah in military fatigues, and noted that he’d cut short his U.S. visit in response to the pilot’s death. According to Mr. Hunter, Abdullah quoted a line from Clint Eastwood’s revenge Western “Unforgiven” at a meeting with U.S. Congress members Tuesday after the news of the burning death had broken.

While the Jordanian government has denied Abdullah would take part in actual attacks, he has been called the “warrior king” due to his decades of military service. Like his father and predecessor, King Hussein, Abdullah enrolled in the U.K.’s Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst. The current king has been a pilot for Cobra attack helicopters.

For its part, the Islamic State has signaled that its fire execution will not be its last, according to translations of its official Twitter account by the Middle East Media Research Institute. After Jordanian Air Force Lt. Muath al-Kaseasbeh was set on fire while caged, the Islamic State’s “Fatwa and Research Authority” called such burnings “completely permissible” under Muslim law in a series of theological discussions and accounts of Muslim history and scholarship, including the actions of Muhammad. According to MEMRI, the Islamic State deemed Lt. al-Kaseasbeh a non-Muslim or apostate, and noted that Muslim schools of jurisprudence have interpreted loosely the apparent Koranic prohibition on “burning an infidel with fire until he dies.” “The Hanafi and Shafi’i schools hold that burning is completely permissible. They interpreted the saying of the Prophet that ‘Only Allah shall torture with fire’ as [a call for] humility. [The scholar] Al-Muhallab said: ‘This ban is not [an actual] prohibition, but rather a means for [advocating] humility.’ [Shafi’i scholar] Ibn Hajar, may Allah have mercy on him, said: ‘[This saying] indicates that it is permissible to burn, as the Companions did. OBAMA’S TEMPER TANTRUM AT TOP U.S. MILITARY BRASS In a fit of rage, Obama snaps at U.S. military brass: “Don’t you dare try and paint all of Islam with the same brush. Showing his Muslim stripes, Obama threw a hissy fit and stomped out of a Pentagon meeting about the bombing campaign against ISIS over remarks allegedly tying the Islamic State (ISIS) to Islam.

His tantrum reportedly took place in the afternoon of last week just prior to the president’s departure to Camp David. It was an informal briefing on the expanded bombing campaigns to take place in both Syria and Iraq. Halfway through the already very brief briefing, President Obama stood up clearly agitated, and walked out of the room. The casually dressed Obama returned to the briefing moments later with a senior adviser alongside him, though his mood continued to indicate he was still very upset. The senior adviser made a couple pointed remarks to the Pentagon representatives, reminded them the president had already had a very busy day, and then both she and the president once again left the room. Within seconds, Barack Obama returned again to the just concluded briefing, pointing at the still seated Pentagon staff and indicating how “inappropriate” it was to “try and paint all of Islam with the same brush.” The president repeated similar remarks, his mood going from agitation to outrage. His voice carried to several other West Wing offices.

The senior adviser, who did not originally return with the president into the briefing, suddenly re-appeared alongside him, as well as the president’s personal aide. She was smiling, and telling everyone “we’re done here” which she repeated several times and then led the president back out into the hallway.

“There are none so blind as those who will not see.”

When you read this you will understand why Obama refuses to say the words “radical Islam.”..

The Baltic Dry Index (BDI) is used by economists and stock traders alike as a leading economic indicator because it predicts future economic activity. The index tracks in US dollars and measures global supply and demand for commodity shipments among bulk carriers including raw materials like lumber, coal, metallic ores, and grains. What makes this particular measurement so distinct from others, according to economic Howard Simmons, is that the BDI “is totally devoid of speculative content” because “people don’t book freighters unless they have cargo to move.”

When cargo is moving the price to move that cargo rises. During the boom-times of the mid 2000′s the Baltic Dry Index hit historical record highs of over $8000 for charter higher rates. It promptly collapsed under $1000 into mid-2008, just ahead of the stock market crash.

What you’re about to see may shock you if you’re of the opinion that an economic recovery has taken hold. Not only has the index lost 90% of its value in the last several months, but according to Zero Hedge it is just a day or two away from its all-time record lows. Where is the global economy headed in the next few months? If The Baltic Dry Index is any guide, it’s about to implode.

And the collapse just keeps going… since Thanksgiving, The Baltic Dry has fallen on 43 or the 47 days, down over 60% from the “China growth is back and all-is-well” hope-filled days of late October (when Jim Cramer “stressed the importance of watching the Baltic Dry Freight Index,” as his bullish thesis confirmation). At 569, The Baltic Dry is inching ever closer to what will be the lowest level ever (554 on 7/31/1986) for the global shipping cost indicator…

One or two more days like this and it will be the all-time low…

It should be obvious, despite the machinations from governments and central banks the world over, that the economy is coming to a standstill. The collapse in the oil price has certainly pushed it along, but the problems go much deeper.

According to many contrarian analysts we’re so far gone that at this point nothing will stop it:

“We are setting up for a collapse that is going to be worse than 1929, and it’s going to come sometime within the next two years. It could come as soon as the next couple of months, but it is going to happen, and there’s nothing that is going to stop it.”

Going forward we will see continued volatility with wild price swings for all asset classes, including gold and oil. It is a sign of a system on its last legs and for those who have failed to prepare a backup plan things are going to be horrific.

The Islamic State’s manifesto declares women who “shave in some places and not others” is the work of the Devil.

A manifesto for women published by the Islamic State (IS) group has criticized Western attitudes to women, saying that this so-called “Western model” has failed, that a woman’s place is in the home, and that Western women’s fashions, like earrings, are the work of the devil.

The manifesto, titled Women of the Islamic State, was shared on the Internet on January 23 by the IS group’s all-women unit, the Al-Khanssa Brigade. An English version of the manifesto was shared on February 5 by the Britain-based antiextremism think tank the Quilliam Foundation. It focuses on women’s daily lives and the role of women in an Islamic society and in the “caliphate” (the name given by the IS group to the areas under its control).

The overarching message of the manifesto is that women should be “sedentary” while men are characterized by “movement and flux.” […] Earrings and hair “shaved in some places and not others” are the Devil’s work. The Islamic State’s manifesto on women also covers the important issue of women’s fashion which, unsurprisingly, it condemns as the work of “Iblis” or the devil. The manifesto conflates jewelry such as earrings with plastic surgery, claiming that the devil encourages vulnerable women to “spend huge amounts of money to change God’s creation” including via surgery to alter “the nose, ear, chin and nails.”

The devil, according to the manifesto, preys on women in “fashion shops and beauty salons,” encouraging them to have “things dangling from ears” and “hair shaved in some places and not others.”

It’s a hard thing to say about anybody, but I do believe that President Obama has it in for America. He’s not “in over his head” as many conservatives claim. He knows exactly what he’s doing. And because there is no push back from the Republicans, he’s retrofitting America with a new operating system that would be unrecognizable by our nation’s founders. Of course, he’s not the first to manipulate the Constitution. It’s been a long progress. The Constitution is passé. Liberals only pay attention to it when they can manipulate it. Otherwise they ignore it.

We won’t understand how different Obama’s made America until all the judges he’s appointed start making judgments. We’re already seeing how past judicial appointments are affecting people. Single judges and panels of judges can rule against voters in states and overrule state legislators. If they can do this on the issue of same-sex marriage, then they can do it on anything.

Obama wants to decapitalize America by taxing its most productive citizens and businesses. He tried to tax tax-free college savings plans, so it’s not just the rich he’s after. It’s anybody who makes more than the next guy. Liberals have always started at the top and worked their way down. The original income tax amendment was sold as a way to tax the most wealthy people. Look how that has turned out.

Now Obama wants more taxes on inheritances and foreign profits on American companies. Why do companies take work overseas? Because it’s cheaper. Corporate tax rates in the United States are high. If politicians want to get these companies to return to the United States, then lower their taxes. It’s that simple.

Consider this:

“Apple is raising $6.5 billion by selling bonds, the fourth time it’s borrowed funds with a bond sale since 2013, Bloomberg reported Monday. The company is borrowing money despite the fact that it has some $178 billion in cash. The reason: taxes. “As Business Insider noted, Apple holds most of its cash offshore, out of Uncle Sam’s taxing reach, and likely won’t bring the money stateside so long as it would face tax rates up to 35 percent.

A tax repatriation holiday — like the one proposed by Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) that would tax incoming cash at a mere 6.5 percent — could help induce Apple to bring its cash back to the U.S.”

Apple may be liberal, but it’s not stupid.

We’re now learning that Obama is running a shadow government that only he and his minions control.

Obama is pushing a $4 trillion budget. His goal is to decimate the job-creating engine in the name of economic justice and income equality. Every time these claims are made an implemented, the gap between rich and poor grows. Money taken from the most productive rarely makes its way into the bank accounts of the poor. Sure, some people benefit from income confiscation and redistribution in the same way that thieves benefit from stealing.

Obama’s goal is to hamstring the economy and make it dependent on the government. It’s a Marxist’s dream. That’s why the Communist Party in the United States is planning to join with the Democrats. They see their policy goals being implemented by the Democrats.

Let’s not forget Obama’s unwillingness to identify Islam as religion with radical elements whose adherents want to take over America or destroy it from the inside.

Then there’s Eric Holder’s replacement, Loretta Lynch. She’s worse than Holder, not only on racial issues, but on fundamental constitutional issues:

It was Lynch’s office that inflicted the nightmare of disappearing funds on the Hirsches and refused to release the money even after overwhelming evidence that the brothers were innocent of wrongdoing.

The Hirsches’ story is a living nightmare. They had to spend tens of thousands of dollars in an attempt to prove they were innocent of a crime that they were never charged with. This went on for nearly three years. Miracle of miracles, “last week, Lynch’s office finally gave the brothers their money back, two years and nine months after it had been seized and exactly a week before Lynch was scheduled to be grilled by members of the Judiciary Committee.”

The big flip: U.S.-backed fighters switch to ISIS

WASHINGTON – Before it even begins, the U.S. training and equipping of Syrian opposition forces to fight the Sunni army ISIS appears to have become more difficult with the decision by a U.S.-backed Syrian rebel group to join an Islamist coalition closely associated with ISIS and the al-Qaida-affiliated Jabhat al-Nusra Front. The Hazzm Movement, associated with the Free Syrian Army, is a secular Syrian insurgent group backed by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency. It was one of the last of the non-jihadist opposition groups fighting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in northern Syria. Its leadership has decided to join the Islamist coalition of the Levant Front fighting around the key Syrian city of Aleppo, according to Arab news sources, including NOW Lebanon.

The turn of events comes even though Hazzm was viewed by one former Defense Department intelligence officer as a “model candidate for greater U.S. and allied support, including lethal military assistance.” The Hazzm Movement decided to switch sides after months of battling Nusra fighters and join the Levant Front, which was formed in late December. It reportedly is on good terms with Nusra.

The development further complicates the process of selecting fighters for training. Pentagon spokesman Rear Adm. John Kirby told WND in January some 5,000 members of the Free Syrian Army would receive training in Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia – all Sunni countries – to battle the Sunni group ISIS. At the time, Kirby said the training could begin in spring, but he noted the process of identifying and then undertaking training by U.S. Special Forces of “moderate” Syrian rebels to fight ISIS was still being worked out.

“I think if we continue to make the progress that we’re making now, that we believe that we could start conducting some training of moderate opposition by early spring,” Kirby said. “What I can tell you is that we continue to coordinate and plan joint efforts for training and equipping for moderate Syrian opposition forces” even though “no training has started yet,” he said.

Kirby pointed out that Maj. Gen. Michael Nagata, commander of U.S. special operations forces in the Middle East, still was talking to officials of the three countries regarding how to implement the training program. Each training period is expected to be four to six months, with trainees to number about 5,000 over the course of a year.

While Kirby made it clear that the training of Syrian opposition forces will be aimed at engaging ISIS fighters, Rami Dalati, a member of the FSA Military Command’s Higher Council, called on Washington to amend the military plan and allow the FSA to target not just ISIS but also Assad military forces. “This is something we insisted on,” Dalati said. Like the Hazzm group, however, FSA fighters have been known to defect to Nusra and ISIS despite Western backing. The reason given is to protect themselves from being killed by the more radical fighting groups that welcomed the defection.

“We ask our brothers in all other factions to resolve their disagreements with the movement through the leadership of the Levant Front,” a spokesman for the front said.

The Levant Front has the strong backing of Turkey, a member of the Western North Atlantic Treaty Organization. To date, Ankara, which has allowed Islamist fighters to move through its country to join Nusra and ISIS to fight Assad, worked with Nusra to recruit the Hazzm Movement fighters, according to informed Middle East sources. The Wall Street Journal recently pointed out that the Hazzm group remains in a CIA training program. A request by WND to the CIA for comment went unanswered.

Meanwhile, the U.N.’s World Food Program is investigating photos circulating on social media that indicate ISIS is distributing its food, the Associated Press reported.

‘Effective military force’

The Hazzm Movement, with ties to the FSA, represents a number of moderate rebel groups battling the Syrian military and, at one time, ISIS, in northern Syria. According to informed sources, the group has been seen operating U.S.-manufactured TOW anti-tank missiles which it received from Saudi Arabia with U.S. approval.

Jeffrey White of the Washington Institute and a former senior defense intelligence officer said the Hazzm Movement is a merger of some 22 separate rebel units.Last year, White said Hazzm has “very little Islamist content,” according to its founding documents and Internet postings.

“In general, the movement appears more interested in warfighting against the (Assad) regime than the infighting that has long plagued the political and military opposition.” He said the group was well organized militarily and “appears to be a model for the type of group the United States and its allies can support with meaningful, lethal military assistance.” Saying that it “appears effective as a military force,” White said the Hazzm Movement has an inventory of heavy weapons and combat experienced fighters. “Harakat Hazzm has many qualities that make it a good candidate for such assistance,” White said.

“It appears secular in orientation, is well organized from a military perspective, has a significant inventory of heavy weapons, operates across an important area of Syria and has an established combat record in fighting Bashar al-Assad’s regime,” he said. “In short, the group seems to provide at least a partial answer to longstanding questions about which rebel groups Washington should arm.”

The special congressional committee probing the Benghazi terror attacks plans to review secretly recorded tapes that reportedly raise questions about then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s role in the 2011 U.S. military intervention in Libya. The Washington Times first reported that Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., chairman of the House committee, told his staff to review the materials. The newspaper previously reported that the audio tapes showed Pentagon officials were so concerned with Clinton’s push in 2011 to back Libyan rebels against Muammar Qaddafi that they opened their own back-channels with Qaddafi to try and prevent the U.S. from entering the civil war.

“Chairman Gowdy and the committee are aware of the details reported by The Washington Times, and we are reviewing them as part of the committee’s inquiry into Benghazi,” Benghazi committee spokesman Jamal Ware said in a statement, confirmed by FoxNews.com.

The decision could open up a new aspect of the Benghazi investigation, which is focused on the 2012 terror attack on the U.S. compound that killed four Americans, at a time when Clinton is moving toward a 2016 White House run. Clinton also may be called in the coming months to testify. Gowdy said previously he may call Clinton as a witness, and according to the top Democrat on the panel, Clinton already has agreed to do so if she’s asked. Clinton’s State Department has been under scrutiny for the level of security at the U.S. compound, and for efforts to initially describe the attack as a demonstration turned violent.

The newly reported tapes deal with the intervention by the U.S. and its allies in 2011. At the time, Pentagon officials reportedly used an intelligence “liaison” to communicate with Qaddafi’s son and a top Libyan leader outside of White House or State Department knowledge. The conversations were secretly recorded. The Times also reported that U.S. intelligence challenged Clinton’s claims about a looming genocide in Libya, used to drive the case for U.S. military intervention. The unnamed intermediary, who was referred to as an intelligence “asset” working for the Pentagon, not only conducted the conversations with Qaddafi’s son, but reportedly shared his concern that Clinton was unnecessarily hyping the danger of a potential genocide by the regime as a way to drag Congress into the situation and shift public opinion in favor of an invasion.

“You should see these internal State Department reports that are produced in the State Department that go out to the Congress. They’re just full of stupid, stupid facts,” the U.S. intermediary reportedly told the Qaddafi regime in 2011. The paper said the liaison was “specifically dispatched by the Joint Chiefs of Staff.”

Armed with a United Nations resolution, the U.S. led international bombing raids against the Qaddafi regime in March 2011, eventually aiding the rebels in ousting the longtime dictator, whom they killed. The Washington Times story suggests that the Obama administration’s efforts, led by Clinton, were focused on regime change, not a negotiated settlement, during the lead-up to the war. The story says that the recordings indicated Clinton allegedly “ordered a general within the Pentagon to refuse to take a call with Qaddafi’s son Seif and other high-level members within the regime, to help negotiate the resolution.” The liaison reportedly told a Qaddafi aide that President Obama told lawmakers that Libya “is all Secretary Clinton’s matter.” The asset also reportedly said the president was not getting “accurate information.”

Obama is Helping Illegal Aliens in a Way That an Aide Says Could be One of His Biggest Scandals

The Center for Immigration Studies released a report Monday that said the Obama administration has operated a “shadow” immigration system for years, one that has handed out millions of work permits to illegal aliens and aliens with unknown legal status. According to government data that CIS received in a Freedom of Information Request, the Obama administration used its discretion to give out nearly 5.5 million work permits to aliens with varying legal status since 2009.

A Republican aide said the report could be one of the biggest scandals of the Obama administration, since it shows the administration was giving work permits to illegal immigrants at a time of high unemployment among Americans. The report was released just as the Obama administration is preparing to implement an immigration plan that could provide legal protection to up to 5 million illegal immigrants and give them work permits. Republicans have said this plan would only make it easier for non-legal residents to take jobs from Americans, although the CIS data shows this is already happening under Obama.

“I was astonished at the huge number of work permits that are being issued by the Obama administration outside the legal immigration system through executive discretion, especially at a time of high unemployment and stagnant wages,” said Jessica Vaughan, director of policy studies at CIS. “Besides the effect on the American worker, it encourages and rewards more illegal immigration.”

According to CIS, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has issued 5,461,568 new work permits to aliens. That’s in addition to the roughly 1.1 million legal immigrants and 700,000 guest workers that the U.S. admits legally each year. Of that 5.5 million, 1.8 million were issued to aliens with temporary visas, but 1.2 million of that group had a visa status that does not authorize employment. Another 982,000 work permits were given to illegal immigrants or immigrants who weren’t qualified for admission. Almost all of this group were made up of aliens who crossed the border illegally, according to CIS. Another group of 1.7 million is made up of aliens with unknown legal status.

The Senate this week will start to consider a House-passed spending bill that would defund Obama’s new immigration plans, and the CIS report will likely give new voice to Republican calls to pass that bill. However, Democrats are known to oppose the Department of Homeland Security spending bill if it contains the defunding language, which will make it difficult to pass the Senate. Still, CIS said Congress has a chance to put the brakes on another Democratic effort to expand work permits by blocking the law, and said it should do so to help protect American jobs.

“These statistics indicate that the executive branch is operating a huge parallel immigrant work authorization system outside the bounds of the laws and limits written by Congress,” CIS said. “It inevitably reduces job opportunities for Americans.”

International outcry after Isis burns Jordanian pilot alive

Words matter. Words have power. Words stir the emotions, and some cause anger in some people. The primary way in which humans, all over the world, communicate information. Words in and of themselves, are mostly good. Used in everyday life, words can be a great source of encouragement, information, concern, and any of the more negative emotions.

Words used to manipulate, as in political speak, are always destructive. They produce the politicians desired results, yet the ultimate results are always evil. Even words not spoken in political speak produce the exact same result.

Case in point: Not calling Terrorism, Terrorism, and Terrorist, Terrorist. Avoiding a term in hopes you will not offend a group whose very purpose for living is terror not only cannot work, but has the opposite results.

Terror is the ultimate goal, and absolute reason why terrorist do what they do. The greater the terror, the greater their power. For example; Beheading someone draws a horrific response from civilized people. Like a misbehaving child, the terrorist will continue to do the horrific until they get their desired recognition for being a terrorist. The more Imperial President Obama withholds using the term terrorist/terrorism, the more horrific terrorist become, including burning a man to death. Imperial President Obama is getting the exact opposite of what he claims motivates his refusal to call terrorist, terrorist.

I know they claim to be in the business of world domination for a prophet they worship. In reality, they want control of every persons fears so they can manipulate everyone into thinking their way. Sounds like Marxist/Socialist/Communist strategies to me.

Talking nice to these people and attempting to make them friends is failure before you start. It is the same with trying to negotiate with a scorpion. No matter how you try to “make-nice” with the scorpion, they will always sting you when giving the chance. Why? Because it’s just their nature to do so. So is the terrorist. However, with the terrorist is worse because it is a part of their culture to lie. Deceit is as much a part of their conduct as breathing. It’s the way they were raised, it’s part of centuries of cultural distinction, and they actually are proud of that part of the culture. So “making-nice” with these terrorist thugs is an absolute waste of time and diplomacy.

The Isis (Islamic State) group released a video purportedly showing a Jordanian pilot being burned alive in a cage, in the jihadists’ most brutal execution yet of a foreign hostage. The highly choreographed 22-minute video released online showed images of a man purported to be First Lieutenant Maaz al-Kassasbeh, captured in December, engulfed in flames.

King Abdullah II cut short a visit to Washington to fly home, state television said, as Amman confirmed the death of the 26-year-old fighter pilot and vowed an “earth-shattering response”. The video, whose authenticity was not immediately verified, enraged officials and the army in Jordan vowed to avenge the murder of the 26-year-old pilot.

“The death sentence will be carried out on a group of jihadists, starting with Rishawi, as well as Iraqi Al-Qaeda operative Ziad Karbuli and others who attacked Jordan’s interests,” said the official.

State television said Kassasbeh had already been killed on January 3, before Isis offered to spare his life and free a Japanese journalist in return for Rishawi’s release.

US President Barack Obama denounced the apparent killing as “just one more indication of the viciousness (and) barbarity” of Isis. The United States will “redouble the vigilance and determination on the part of the global coalition to make sure” the group is “ultimately defeated”, he added. The White House said US intelligence was working to confirm the video’s authenticity.

‘Barbaric enemy’

The chief of the US-led war on IS, General Lloyd Austin, condemned the pilot’s murder as “savage” and vowed to “fight this barbaric enemy until it is defeated”.

British Prime Minister David Cameron said the “sickening murder will only strengthen our resolve to defeat ISIL”, another acronym for Isis.

Kassasbeh was captured on December 24 after his F-16 jet crashed during a mission over northern Syria as part of the US-led campaign against the jihadists. The video released today shows footage of him at a table recounting coalition operations against Isis, with flags from the various Western and Arab countries in the alliance projected in the background. It then shows Kassasbeh dressed in an orange jumpsuit and surrounded by armed and masked Isis fighters in camouflage. It cuts to him standing inside the cage and apparently soaked in petrol before a masked jihadist uses a torch to light a trail of flame that runs to the cage and burns him alive. The video also offered rewards for the killing of other “crusader” pilots.

The release of the video of Kassasbeh’s purported murder came after Isis beheaded two Japanese hostages within a week.

‘Horrific, disgusting’ footage

The Isis (Islamic State) group had vowed to kill the second Japanese, Kenji Goto, and Kassasbeh by sunset on January 29 unless Amman handed over Rishawi. Kassasbeh’s plane was the first loss of an aircraft since the US-led coalition launched strikes against Isis last year.

Along with Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain are taking part in the air strikes in Syria. Australia, Belgium, Britain, Canada, Denmark, France and the Netherlands are participating in Iraq.

Isis seized swathes of territory in Iraq and Syria last year, declaring an Islamic “caliphate” and committing a wave of atrocities. The extremist group claimed in a video released at the weekend that it had killed 47-year-old Goto, after previously murdering another Japanese hostage, Haruna Yukawa. It had initially demanded a $200 million ransom for the Japanese hostages — the same amount Tokyo had promised in non-military aid to countries affected by Isis.

Isis had previously beheaded two US journalists, an American aid worker and two British aid workers in similar videos.

Shiraz Maher, from the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation at King’s College London, described the footage as “simply the most horrific, disgusting thing I have seen from Islamic State in the last two years”. “They clearly want to make a real point. This is the first individual whom they have captured who has been directly involved with the Western coalition in fighting IS. It is different from the aid workers… This is an act of belligerence. Every time you think they cannot commit anything worse — they open up another trapdoor.”

Jordan had vowed to do everything it could to save the pilot but had demanded proof he was still alive before handing over Rishawi. Isis had previously published what it said was an interview with the pilot in which he said his plane was hit by a heat-seeking missile. It claimed to have shot down his plane but both Jordan and the United States said it had crashed.

Kassasbeh’s family had urged Isis to release the recently married pilot, with his father Safi asking the jihadist group to show “mercy”.

Muslim Brotherhood issues call for jihad 2 days after meeting at the State Department

There’s nothing like some good ol’ inspiration to get any team motivated to go out and win. We’ve all seen movies where inspirational speeches somehow enable a team to dig just a little deeper into themselves. However, you never see an instance where the leaders of one team go over to the opposing team to provide them with a highly spirited charge that will instill in them a desire to beat their own team. Could you imagine Sunday, the coaches of the Seattle Seahawks inviting the New England Patriots team into their locker room to pump them up?

Well, apparently that’s what the United States did this past week.

As reported by the Washington Free Beacon, “The Muslim Brotherhood called for “a long, uncompromising jihad” in Egypt just days after a delegation of the Islamist group’s key leaders and allies met with the State Department, according to an official statement released this week. The organization released an official statement calling on its supporters to “prepare” for jihad, according to an independent translation of the statement first posted on Tuesday.”

“The State Department meeting was attended by a deputy assistant secretary for democracy, human rights, and labor and other State Department officials. The Muslim Brotherhood statement also was issued just two days before a major terror attack Thursday in Egypt’s lawless Sinai region that killed at least 25.”

We reported on this a few days ago and the official State Department response was “We meet with representatives from across the political spectrum in Egypt.”

And why not? I’m quite sure they don’t consider the Muslim Brotherhood an Islamic terrorist organization — just “unarmed political insurgents” – kind of like the Taliban. As a matter of fact, I’m quite sure the Obama White House considers the Tea Party a greater threat to the United States than the Muslim Brotherhood.

Hey, that reminds me of something — has Obama or his minions ever invited Tea Party leaders to the White House? Quite telling would you not say, that President Obama and his administration has had Islamic clerics who issued fatwas on our troops and individuals linked to the Muslim Brotherhood in the White House but not any of the Tea Party leaders targeted by his IRS? Whose side is he on?

Or here’s an obvious one: has Obama ever had Chris Kyle’s wife Taya to the White House? I think you get my point.

Here is what the Obama administrations BFFs at the Muslim Brotherhood had to say, “It is incumbent upon everyone to be aware that we are in the process of a new phase, where we summon what is latent in our strength, where we recall the meanings of jihad and prepare ourselves, our wives, our sons, our daughters, and whoever marched on our path to a long, uncompromising jihad, and during this stage we ask for martyrdom,” it states.”

“Preparation for jihad is a key theme of the Brotherhood’s latest call for jihad. An image posted with the statement shows two crossing swords and the word “prepare!” between them. Below the swords it reads, “the voice of truth, strength, and freedom.” According to the statement, “that is the motto of the Dawa of the Muslim Brotherhood.” The statement also invokes the well-known Muslim cleric Imam al-Bana, who founded the Brotherhood and has called for the death of Jews.”

Now, I seem to remember one now CIA Director John Brennan, telling us that “jihad” was a legitimate tenet of Islam — y’all know, that “religion of peace.” Folks telling us that jihad is some personal struggle, well, I ain’t feeling the personal struggle aspect from the above quote from the venerable granddaddy of Islamic terrorism, the Muslim Brotherhood. Seems to me they’re calling for a struggle against others which they pray ends up in martyrdom — you know, where they kill folks and get taken out as well. Then again, according to Al Jazeera English, I’m all wet. After all, one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter. Yes, that’s it! The Muslim Brotherhood stands for freedom — the freedom to kill those who don’t follow the ways of the Ikhwan. And if you don’t know what that is, well, you should read more.

“The fact that the Brotherhood issued its call to jihad two days after its meeting at the State Department will be grist for endless anti-American conspiracy theories about a supposed partnership between Washington and the Brotherhood,” said Eric Trager, a fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy (WINEP). “The State Department should have foreseen what an embarrassment this would be.”

I don’t think anything embarrasses the Obama administration. We know things could have had a far different and peaceful settlement in Libya — but for some odd reason, seems like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton wanted the Islamic jihadists to win. The new disclosed tapes tell us so — and then ol’ Hillary outsourced the Special Mission Compound in Benghazi security to an Islamist militia, February 17 Martyrs — the rest is history.

However, as Hillary would say to all of this, “What difference at this point does it make?” The difference is we are truly starting to wonder — well, at least those of us not drinking the kool-aid — if the policy of this administration is to openly embrace Islamic terrorists. Because it sure seems that way.

“Muslim Brothers have been committing violent acts for a very long time,” Trager explained. “Under Morsi, Muslim Brothers tortured protesters outside the presidential palace. After Morsi’s ouster, they have frequently attacked security forces and state property. But until now, the official line from the Brotherhood was to support this implicitly by justifying its causes, without justifying the acts themselves,” he added. “ So the Brotherhood’s open call to jihad doesn’t necessarily mean a tactical shift, but a rhetorical one.”

So something occurred at the State Department meeting earlier this week which has emboldened the Muslim Brotherhood to openly advocate the actions they were previously unwilling to embrace — but were conducting.

Something happened at Foggy Bottom that gave the Muslim Brotherhood the “green light.” Funny, Obama has dispatched campaign staffers to defeat Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. They’ve met with Muslim Brotherhood leaders while shunning Egyptian President al-Sisi.

But this administration will not call out Turkey’s President Erdogan – another Obama BFF — or the treacherous Qataris. And we know Obama gets REALLY mad if Congress talks about reinstating sanctions against Iran — Valerie Jarrett’s “homeboys.”

I don’t know. This is getting all too easy to decipher. It’s like President Obama doesn’t care anymore about hiding his affections and affiliations — and he’s daring the American people to stop him. Will we?

Delusional: U.S. military will no longer target Taliban – even though they just murdered 3 American contractors

Last week we shared the story about the Taliban claiming responsibility for the terrorist attack that killed three American contractors. The Americans, working as contractors for the North Carolina-based Praetorian Standards Inc., were shot and killed, and another was wounded by a member of the Afghan security forces — actually a Taliban infiltrator. And we thought combat operations were ended.

Now, what do you think the Obama administration had to say about the “aggression conducted by armed insurgents?”

Naturally, as reported by CNS News, “State Department Spokesperson Jen Psaki declined on Friday to directly say whether the murder of three U.S. civilians at the airport in Kabul, Afghanistan, on Thursday—which the Taliban claimed responsibility for–was an act of terrorism.”

“Obviously any attack that kills contractors, that kills individuals who are working there in harm’s way, is horrific and a tragedy but I’m not going to put new labels on it today.” She also said: “We see a difference between Taliban and ISIL.”

Hey, I know the difference: one group is regional to Afghanistan and Pakistan and mostly speaks Pashtun; the other is global and speaks a variety of languages. However, they are both Islamic terrorists, savage and barbaric in their actions, something seemingly lost on Jen Psaki. And for the Islamapologists who refute the idea that this current conflagration has anything to do with religion — well, some beg to differ, namely, the enemy.

As reported by the Washington Post, Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said that the killer was Ihsanullah bin Mullah Rahmatulla, who had infiltrated Afghan security forces. “He managed yesterday evening to attain his goal and opened fire with his rifle on a group of American occupiers,” Mujahid said, as quoted in the Post. The attacker was then killed. “The martyr was able to successfully defend his religion … and the glory of his country, and by giving himself away as a sacrifice, he cast a number of the occupying disbelievers into the abyss of hell,” said the Taliban spokesman, according to the Post.

At last Friday’s State Department press briefing, CNS News asked: “The Taliban has taken credit for murdering three American civilian contractors at the Kabul airport yesterday. Were those murders an act of terrorism?”

“Well, one, I think the Department of Defense has spoken to this a bit so I’d point you to their comments,” said Psaki. “There was a shooting at the North Kabul International Airport Complex yesterday. We’ve seen reports that the Taliban have claimed responsibility. There’s an investigation going on into this incident. Obviously, any attack that kills contractors, that kills individuals who are working there in harm’s way, is horrific and a tragedy but I’m not going to put new labels on it today.”

AP Reporter Matt Lee later returned to the question asking Psaki: “I’m just not sure why you wouldn’t just say of course it’s a terrorist attack.” “It’s an act of terror when American citizens are, individuals, are killed, like contractors, absolutely,” Psaki said. Later, Lee asked her: “Is there anything that has been uncovered in this investigation into what happened at the Kabul Airport to suggest that it was not in fact a terrorist attack?” “I was not suggesting that,” said Psaki, “but I think we have a responsibility as the U.S. government to let processes see themselves out and that’s what we’re doing.”

Ok, what processes? This is why we have an administration that is simply incapable of defending the American people against the Islamic terrorist threat. They’ve sought to reduce this enemy into some complex wire diagram when the entire time you have a simplistic linear equation.

Here are two examples:

“A reported asked Psaki, “It was an Afghan policeman who did this, obviously working for the Taliban. Are you concerned that this may happen time and time again?” Psaki responded, “I am not going to address your question.”

“Psaki continued, explaining that President Obama had made a determination not to target “belligerents” in Afghanistan because they were members of the Taliban. She said: “Also, back when we made our decision about our combat role in Afghanistan the president talked about how U.S. forces would continue to target the remnants of al-Qaida in Afghanistan, but the U.S. military forces will no longer target belligerents solely because they are members of the Taliban.”

So I want you all to understand what this means. Our troops remaining in Afghanistan will not be “targeting” any member of the Taliban. In other words, our men and women will be sitting duck targets who will allow the proliferation of the “armed insurgents.” What mentality possesses the Obama administration that it can stand and issue such clearly delusional statements? I cannot understand any possible logic in a policy that says we’re not going to fight the enemy who is fighting us?

And recognize this is why President Obama and his ilk see no problem with the release of five senior Taliban leaders – it’s just no big deal. So why are we leaving a residual force in Afghanistan? Why are we exposing our troops to a policy of abject failure, one that refuses to recognize the enemy’s existence, or its intent? This inane game of redefining the enemy in order to fit your politically-driven ideology does not lend itself to success or victory — and certainly will lead to more deaths of our American troops, and in this case, security contractors.

If I’m al-Qaida — well, just say you’re Taliban and that’s your “get out of jail free card.” Who in the Congress, House or Senate Armed Services Committees has held a hearing to ascertain the viability of such a strategy as Obama is offering in Afghanistan? The Congress has oversight and if anything there should be a hearing requiring the Department of Defense and CENTCOM to explain this strategy.

Jen Psaki’s revelation should be disturbing for every American — unless you’re just a cheerleader for this current administration. This disclosure will not bode well for our residual force left in Afghanistan. Not only has Obama released and reconstituted the enemy and its leadership — he is providing them safe passage and the ability to once again reestablish sanctuary. After all, it was the Taliban who invited al-Qaida into Afghanistan and provided them comfort and aid in the first place. And we have a president who is also providing the enemy aid and comfort, as well as material support by way of returning their leadership — a violation of U.S. code.

But oh well. The Patriots won.

Gov Walker: Supporting Immigration Reform ‘Doesn’t Mean Amnesty’

Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” Gov. Scott Walker (R-WI) said supporting immigration reform “doesn’t mean amnesty.”

Walker said, “I think, for sure, we need to secure the border. We need to enforce the legal system. I’m not for amnesty. I’m not an advocate of the plans that have been pushed in Washington. And I think, should I become a candidate, because I’m not yet, it’s part of the exploratory process. We’re a country of balance. We’re a country of immigrants and laws. We can’t ignore the laws or the people that come in. Whether it’s Mexico or Central America.”

When asked if he supported deporting 11 million people, Walker answered, “That’s not what I’m advocating.”

“I’m saying in the end, we need to enforce the laws of the United States. Find a way for people to have a legitimate legal immigration system. And that doesn’t mean amnesty,” he concluded.

GENOCIDE BY JIHAD: The Islamic Mandate

While this gaggle of misfits is busy kissing Allah’s (not to mention CAIR’s) a**– Islamic organizations such as ISIS and Boko Haram are committing genocide by jihad.

That’s right: Genocide by Jihad.

And, as we have witnessed in the alternative media–the group they are deliberately targeting for systematic destruction [genocide] is Christians. Despite the oft (and always spurious) comments from John Kerry that ISIS and Boko Haram have “nothing” to do with Islam–the sane among us beg to differ. These Islamic-killing machines are not only following the barbaric paradigm set by the Prophet Mohammed–but also fundamental, Koranic doctrine that demands the violent subjugation and eventual annihilation of Christians (Koran 9:5, 9:12, 9:29, 4:91, 2:191, 5:59).

Sadly, we are seeing this Koranic doctrine on display each day. From the five teenage boys executed in Mosul, Iraq by ISIS for violating Sharia law (they were watching a soccer match on TV) to the slaughter of 2,000 civilians in Baga, Nigeria at the hands of Boko Haram–Islam’s mandate for genocide is beyond gruesome. And just what did these victims have in common? You guessed it–they were all Christians. Of course–this is just a mere snapshot of the unfettered violence that Mohammed’s miscreants have perpetrated on innocent Christians. I’ll save the macabre details of rape, torture and mass beheadings for another post.

Lest we forget–this brand of barbarity is nothing new. In 1915 an Islamic nation known as the Ottoman Empire launched a vicious and bloody jihad against Armenian Christians within its borders. Adhering steadfastly to Koranic dogma–the Ottoman government considered all Christians “dangerous microbes” worthy of the most savage forms of eradication. And by the time the murder, mayhem and misery ended–2 million “people of the book” were ruthlessly slaughtered.

So, whether it’s ISIS, Boko Haram, or some other Muslim cohort committing genocide by jihad–just remember exactly what this is: The Islamic mandate.

Texas Rep. Makes Request of Muslims Visiting Her Office – And They Hate It

This is what happens when you get to entitles and people have had enough. People strike back, and if you don’t like it, well, tough bananas.

Texas_State_Rep_Molly_White-e1422633998118 During ‘Texas Muslim Capitol Day’, whatever that is for or about, is apparently a day where CAIR reps and Muslim community members get to meet state lawmakers. Personally, I just call the offices and get an appointment. I can’t get a ‘Katie McGuire’ day….yet.

Republican Rep. Molly White knew she would not be in the Capitol on this very special day. How dare she? But wait! She left behind instructions for those that visited her office.

From the Conservative Tribune, White posted to Facebook, “I did leave an Israeli flag on the reception desk in my office with instructions to staff to ask representatives from the Muslim community to renounce Islamic terrorist groups and publicly announce allegiance to America and our laws.

“We will see how long they stay in my office.”

For some reason, this angered CAIR. But they wrote a passive aggressive letter to the Texas House Speaker and the ethics advisor and posted on their website to feel better.

From the letter:
“Our ethics question is: Has Rep. White violated any House rules in creating such an internal office policy that is selectively being enforced to discriminate against certain religious minorities trying to meet with her or her staff?” the statement read.

“Are House members prohibited from making constituents take oaths before meeting with their elected representatives or house staff?,” it continued. “Or, are you aware of any other ethical breaches that may have occurred because of these statements?”

This is ridiculous. Everyone knows CAIR has been linked to major terror organizations, and if they really were the ‘upstanding citizens’ they claim to be, why would they have any problem with the oath?

Senator Ted Cruz has introduced legislation making it crime to engage in political targeting by the Internal Revenue Service.

The Daily Signal says this is not the first time Cruz has offered this type of legislation. In February 2014, he introduced amendments to the STOP Identity Theft Act. Those measures, however, were defeated by Democrats and did not make it out of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

With a new Republican Senate majority, Cruz is hopeful that this time the language will pass independently as a bill. In apress release, Cruz blasted the lack of action by President Obama and his administration in response to the IRS scandal.

“In May 2013, President Obama declared the IRS’s illegal targeting of conservative groups ‘intolerable and inexcusable,’ yet to this date no one has been held accountable for it,” Cruz said in a statement.

Cruz’s bill would make it a crime for any IRS employee to willfully target anyone based solely on political beliefs. Any employee found in violation would be subject to a fine, up to 10 years in prison, or both.

“This is a well thought out amendment to the IRS code to try and deter and punish the type of naked political targeting engaged in by Lois Lerner and other IRS employees,” said Hans von Spakovsky, manager of the election law reform initiative and senior legal fellow at The Heritage Foundation.

Lerner, former director of the IRS’ Exempt Organizations Unit, left the agency in 2013 after news of the targeting scandal broke. Lawmakers voted to hold her in contempt of Congress last year. Von Spakovsky said abuses like the targeting of tea party and conservative groups should never happen again.

On September 27, 1997, another Pakistani Islamist leader, Maulana Shafayat Mohamed, played host to an ICNA conference at his Florida-based fundamentalist madrassa (religious school), which served as a recruitment center for Taliban fighters.

In 2000, CNSNews.com made public a press release, originally posted on a Middle Eastern website, from a July 2000 ICNA meeting, which read: “Jamaat e-Islami’s supporters have an organization in America known as ICNA …” The press release also recounted some of the views expressed at the aforementioned ICNA meeting. These included an exhortation that “Islam must be translated into political dominance”; pleas for support for “jihad” in “Chechnya, Kashmir, Palestine, Iraq [against U.S. forces], southern Sudan, and … in Bosnia/Kosova [sic]”; an appeal for unity among Pakistani Muslims against “Hindu Brahmins and Zionist Jews”; and an endorsement of Muslim women’s inclusion in carrying out jihad. In part because of such revelations, ICNA is now under investigation by U.S. authorities for possible connections to terrorist groups. SO realize that another linked video clip, by leading British Islamist Anjem Choudhary, is a mirror image to Ramadan. Choudhary is the same jihadist who was cited in an intelligence analysis this investigative journalist was part of. It was not for nothing.

INTRINSICALLY, when one is less than 6 degrees separated from “43 Islamists on trial for a Euro-terror plot” (for starters), well, others would do well to hear what he (they) have to say. Indeed, they mean (Shariah law) business.

IS it any wonder why the Islamist-in-Chief granted him a visa and embraces these same brothers in the Muslim Brotherhood Mafia?

Mr. Moore-

Good afternoon there sweetheart, I hope this finds you alive and well. You can thank our men and women of the armed forces for that, by the way, and that also includes us cowardly snipers. It seems you’ve found time between licking the jelly off your fingers and releasing your grasp of a bear claw to tweet some junk about snipers being cowards.

My buddies and I got a good laugh over the tweet, so I thank you. For a guy worth $50 million dollars, you sure have quite a bit to bitch and cry about. I guess like a moth to flame, you too gravitate towards things that are popular and in the moment — in this case it’s snipers. Too bad for you that your attempt at being relevant via your 70+ year old family experience has failed. It has only made you look dumber than a bag of hammers. Next time you should try something more original than going after snipers for one reason or another…that was so last month.

It’s typical of “men” like you to criticize the intestinal fortitude, focus, discipline and patriotism of a sniper. It must stem from an inferiority complex or something. But hey, it’s okay cupcake. We snipers are thick skinned and the efforts of world class turds such as yourself to portray us in a negative light only makes us laugh. If you and I were in the same room, I’d throw you a smile and gently pat you on the head knowing you’re nothing more than a mouth breathing, Crisco sweating waste of space not even worthy of being in the presence of a sniper. It’s almost funny how people like you preach things like ‘acceptance’ and ‘not passing judgement’ or ‘labeling people’, but then are the first to do so when a person is in some way dissimilar from you.

So tenderfoot, I leave you with this final thought: what if you found yourself in some sort of hostage situation where you were held at knife-point by some crazed person and they were dead set on making an example of you by bleeding you out on Hollywood Blvd in front of the world, and the only way out was with the precision aimed fire of a sniper? Would you want that coward to take the shot? Because knowing how you feel about snipers such as myself and your hatred of firearms, I’d probably drop the mag, roll the bolt and go get a Jack & Coke before helping you out.

Treason: Obama Aids the Enemy

treason-obama Well, that didn’t take long. This summer after Barack Obama inexplicably (and illegally) freed five of the Taliban’s most deadly terrorists in exchange for army deserter Bowe Bergdahl, I asked a burning question – a question that remains unanswered: “What will it take for our spineless U.S. Congress to impeach this tyrant? This is way beyond partisan politics. This is about justice. This is about the safety of the American people. Barack Hussein Obama is America’s biggest threat to national security. He is ‘an enemy within.’”

By striking this Faustian bargain with the devil, not only did Obama unilaterally trash the U.S. government’s long-standing policy never to negotiate with terrorists, he brazenly violated a 2013 national defense bill that unambiguously requires he give Congress 30-days notice before releasing any Guantanamo Bay prisoners, much less five of its most deadly.

Article III, Section 3, Clause 1, of the U.S. Constitution defines the crime of treason – dare I say the “high crime” of treason – as “levying War against [the United States], or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.”

Whether Obama is intentionally trying to overthrow his own government is open for debate. But that he is, “adhering to [America’s] Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort,” is without question.

“There is no doubt that Americans will die as a direct result of Obama’s demonstrably illegal actions here,” I wrote back in June. “With most of these monsters in their 40s, they’ve got decades to kill as many Americans as they can get their blood-soaked hands on.”

The National Enquirer, of all publications, interviewed me on my analysis, publishing a feature article that largely echoed my sentiments and concluded, “Meanwhile, D.C. insiders say that the only way the Bergdahl fiasco will ‘disappear’ is if the U.S. gets involved in an ongoing crisis elsewhere, which will allow President Obama to ‘redeem himself’ in not only the eyes of his critics but the world.”

While the Obama administration has, no doubt, manufactured many a crisis elsewhere, no such redemption has been forthcoming. Neither has the Bergdahl scandal disappeared. Instead, that which even hard-left Sen. Diane Feinstein, D-Calif., feared has, in a few short months, and quite predictably so, become reality. We now learn from a reluctant Obama media that at least one of the “Taliban Five” – one of these faithful followers of Muhammad – intends to kill more American citizens.

Reports CNN:

“The U.S. military and intelligence community now suspect that one of the five Taliban detainees released from Guantanamo Bay in return for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl in May of last year has attempted to return to militant activity. …

“It comes at a politically sensitive time as the administration has quickened the pace of prisoner release in an effort to encourage the closure of Guantanamo, and the Army must decide in the coming weeks whether and how to punish Bergdahl for leaving his post. [It’s called wartime desertion, CNN. Until recently it got you lined up and shot.]”

According to a September congressional report, “about 17 percent of detainees transferred out of Guantanamo Bay are confirmed by the U.S. to have returned to militant activity. About 12 percent are in the suspected category,” noted CNN.

And so as Barack Obama recklessly sows the seeds of a foolish, politically driven campaign promise, we begin to reap the poisonous fruit of his incompetence. As intelligence concludes that nearly one-third (probably more) of these rabid jihadi dogs will return to their rabid jihadi ways, Obama yet races to loose them from their chains. (Hey, I hear ISIS has several openings in HR [Head Removal]. Perhaps our Muslim-sympathizer-in-chief can whip-up a quick batch of reference letters.)

I wish it could be said that this man is simply an incompetent fool, but I fear it’s much more complicated than all that. At best, Barack Hussein Obama is a full-blown dhimmi (one who surrenders to Muslim dominance). At worst, he shares with Muslims the sworn enemies of both the Quran and “progressivism,” namely Israel and Christianity.

Regrettably, I believe the latter to be true. I believe that this president’s well-established propensity to give aid and comfort to our Islamic enemies stems from an attitude best described, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”

Long gone are the days when calling an American president a tyrant and accusing him of treason amounted to political hyperbole. Just a few short decades ago this anti-American Marxist would not only have been accused of treason, he would have been tried for it.

But alas, inaction and injustice are the lawless hallmarks of today’s political milieu.

We’ve become “fundamentally transformed,” all right.

Remember the now infamous Rose Garden presser? The shameful images are forever etched in the annals of American history: Obama, standing side-by-side with, and even embracing, Robert Bergdahl, the father of an American traitor and apparent Muslim convert himself. When he took to the podium, among the first words from the elder Bergdahl’s mouth were, in Arabic, “Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim,” which means, “In the name of Allah, the merciful, the compassionate.” This, according to a number of Islamic scholars and CIA experts, was a “Muslim victory call” intended to “claim the White House for Islam.”

Hmm: to claim the White House for Islam. So it would seem.

Meanwhile, Rose Garden honoree Bowe Bergdahl, a man the Obama administration says “served the United States with honor and distinction,” faces likely court-martial for desertion.

While Barack Obama faces another round of golf.
