What Did You Say?

I have deliberately waited to write this article to see if the “Main-Stream Press” would actually report this correctly. So far, after two weeks, I only see FOX reporting on it. This story is so disturbing on so many levels and proves to be one of the many blunders the Obama Administration has born. The new blunder under the Mr. Holder, the Attorney General? Selling fully automatic weapons (plural – large numbers of weapons sold through gun shops near the U.S, / Mexican Border), to known cartel members to see if they could track them across the Mexican Border to the actual cartels.

As a result, multiple Mexican citizens have been murdered, as well as, two U.S. Border Patrol Agents with THOSE weapons. The operation failed miserably. Where are all the screamers we heard under Republican Presidents every time there was a serious shooting incident? Where are all the activist demonstrating for more restrictive gun laws? Why isn’t any one from the far left voicing their typical “gun-hating” rhetoric like they have in the past? Why all the silence?

How I wish the following interview would happen and shown on every television channel;

Interviewer:  “Mr. Holder, it is my understanding, based on years of statements and interviews that you have been a staunch supporter of gun control and restricting the sale and use of fully automatic weapons as well as semi-automatic weapons. Is that true?

Mr. Holder: “Yes that is true. I have always supported taking such weapons off the street and out of the hands of criminals.”

Interviewer:  “Is it also true that the entire President Obama Administration has the same convictions?”

Mr. Holder: “Yes, that is also true. Those weapons go way beyond what anyone would ever need to hunt with and they are responsible for many deaths. They do not belong in anyone’s hands except those of the military.”

Interviewer:  “Based on that answer, why did you, a man of convictions regarding removing semi-automatic and fully automatic weapons from the public, supported by an administration with the same convictions, deliberately sell multiple numbers of those weapons, from stores you want them restricted in, to KNOWN Mexican Cartel members?”

Mr. Holder: “Our intention was to track these weapons across the Mexican Border to Mexican cartels that would end up using them. We had the participation of the Mexican Government. The idea was to use this information to shut down the cartels.”

Interviewer:  “Don’t we already know who the cartels are, who runs them, and most of their members?

Mr. Holder: “Well, yes we do. However, we needed to know who was buying guns from American suppliers.”

Interviewer:  “Didn’t you already have that information? According to ATF reports, such suppliers have been identified and prosecuted. Certainly that doesn’t stop others from forming new methods of sale and transportation, and the ATF has had a good history of finding them and shutting them down. So, why deliberately sell multiple weapons, in multiple shipments to KNOWN cartel members knowing how they would be used?”

Mr. Holder: “Like I already said, the plan was use these sales to help shut down the cartels.”

Interviewer:  “Have you shut down any cartels with this operation?”

Mr. Holder: “No, not yet. The operation is ongoing.”

Interviewer:  “What do you have to say to the families and friends of the multiple Mexican citizens who have been murdered with your weapons, and especially the family and friends of the two Border Patrol Agents murdered with your weapons?”

Mr. Holder: “Of course our thoughts go out to those families and friends. I want the record to reflect that I resent your referring to these guns as MY WEAPONS.”

Interviewer:  “Did you deliberately sell someone else’s weapons, or did you sell weapons purchased for this specific operation?

Mr. Holder: “This interview is over.”

I don’t know about you, but I intend to ask every Republican Presidential candidate why they have not said anything about his, and if they will bring criminal charges against the organizers of this operation.
