Back when he was a senator running for president, Barack Obama stated he would bankrupt the American coal industry. As president, he used the regulatory agency order and extended the definition of the Clean Air Act of 1970. The U.S. Supreme Court did grant a request to temporarily block the Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean Power Plan as a lawsuit moves forward. It was the first time the Supreme Court had ever halted federal regulations during a legal challenge. However, it may have truly come too late.Tyrant Obama

As reported by Fox Business News, “The bankruptcy of Peabody Energy (BTU), the world’s largest private coal producer, puts an exclamation point on the industry’s struggles and their ripple effect.

Like its fellow coal miners, Peabody has been hit by cheap natural gas and costly new regulations. Peabody, whose $2 billion loss in 2015 marked the fourth straight year of red ink for the company, warned last month that bankruptcy might be on the horizon. The move was made official Wednesday, as Peabody filed for Chapter 11 protection for most of its U.S. entities.

Peabody is one of many mining firms that have sought bankruptcy. Patriot Coal, which Peabody spun off in 2007, went bankrupt in May 2015, just 18 months after emerging from its prior bankruptcy. Alpha Natural Resources, Arch Coal and Walter Energy also entered bankruptcy within the last year. According to Peabody, about 50 coal companies have gone bankrupt amid coal’s decline. Peabody said it was taking this action during an “unprecedented industry downturn,” according to a letter to customers that was posted on Peabody’s website.”freedom

Imperial President ObamaI just have to ask, what American president would make it a goal to destroy an entire American industry? The answer: one whose ideological agenda is more important than American jobs, families, and way of life. Could it have been possible to work with the coal industry to advance better technologies? Instead, how many Americans have been purposefully driven into government dependency in order to care for their families because of their lost jobs?

As well, what will happen to those low income families who relied on cheaper energy prices because of coal? America is the Saudi Arabia of coal and why shouldn’t we encourage that energy sector as part of our national energy portfolio?

Senate Democrats Go Nuclear and Blow Up Tradition

They did it. Senate Democrats invoked  the nuclear option and blew up over 220 years of legislative history in the  United States. The Democrats changed the rules of the Senate to allow  Presidential appointments to executive and judicial positions with a simple  majority vote. Instead of the original 60 vote threshold, now the Senate will  only need 51 votes to approve these appointments. It may not seem like a major  change – but it is – Senator John McCain (R-AZ) may have said it best, “This  changes everything, this changes everything.”

Funny enough, the same Democrats that today “broke the rules, to change the  rules,” once fought tooth and nail to stop Republicans from doing the very same.  In 2005 the Republicans threatened the nuclear option because of Democrats  filibustering President George W. Bush’s judicial appointments. The key word  there is threatened. In the end, a bipartisan group of Senators brokered an  agreement and the nuclear option was left untouched.

Do you remember some of the things the Democrats said during that nuclear  option debate? How about just what Senate  Majority Leader Harry Reid said? (Check out this great  video of Reid on the nuclear option from 2005)

“My Republican colleagues claim that nominees are entitled to an up-down  vote. That claim ignores history, including recent history.”

“Some in this chamber want to throw out 214 years of Senate history in the  quest for absolute power … They think they’re wiser than our founding fathers. I  doubt that that’s true.”

The nuclear option, “simply put, would be the end of the United States  Senate.”

What is Reid saying now?

“These nominees deserve at least an up-or-down vote. But Republican  filibusters deny them a fair vote and deny the president his team.”

To remain relevant and effective as an institution, the Senate must evolve  to meet the challenges of a modern era.”

“It’s time to change the Senate before this institution becomes  obsolete.”

How about what another Senate expert thinks about the nuclear option? What do  you think, Vice President Biden? (Circa 2005)

The Senate Democrats betrayed the American people yet again when they voted  for the nuclear option. Our system is designed to give the minority more power  than its numbers would ordinarily give it. Why? Because our founding fathers  knew the corrupting influence of power. They knew that the majority could not be  trusted with its “full share” of power – they would persecute and ignore the  minority’s beliefs and desires.

HReidMiddleSenate Democrats chose to value themselves more  than they values our nation, and they should be punished for that. It’s my  sincerest hope that this, along with the many other failings, shortcomings and  scandals that the Democrats have been a part of, be seared into the brains of  voters for years to come.

Again, I think John McCain’s reaction to the day’s events are just about  perfect.

“This changes everything, this changes everything… (This) puts on a chill  on the entire United States Senate.”

“I have reached to them. I spent an hour in Harry Reid’s office. Come on.  I reached out until my arms ache… They are governed by these hard over, newer  members of Democratic senators who have never been a minority, who are primarily  driving this issue and they succeeded and  they will pay a very, very heavy price for it.“

I hope so Senator McCain, I sincerely do.

Don’t you remember?  Most of America, of course, doesn’t.  The mainstream media never told the masses.  They were too busy fawning over the fraud who wound up being awarded the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize.

Sick irony, that.  As the smoke clears and the body count mounts from the appalling Islamic terrorist attack on the shopping mall in Nairobi, Kenya, the fact that Obama had a personal hand in paving the way for groups like Al-Shabab to flourish in that part of Africa gets no coverage.

Those of us who pay attention to the real news know that in 2006, as a newly elected United States senator and rising star in the democrat party here, Barack Hussein Obama traveled to Kenya and illegally used his office (in violation of the Logan Act) to campaign for his cousin of the Luo tribe, Raila Odinga, who was running for president there.

Odinga wound up officially losing the 2007 election, but he and his socialist/Islamic Sharia platform hard-line supporters refused to accept the results.

Odinga’s faction already had an action plan in place in the event of their election defeat, and they carried it out with utter ruthlessness.  They waged violent jihad against Christians, hacking them to death with machetes, and conducted a prolonged campaign of “ethnic cleansing” and murder, riots, and all kinds of terror, including the burning and total destruction of at least 80 Christian churches.  The body count from that ”religion of peace” pogrom was in the thousands, with a half a million people displaced by the violence.

In the end, the presidential election winner and his party caved in to the relentless campaign of Odinga’s Muslim terrorists, which had enjoyed the tacit stamp of approval from the American official (who had, don’t forget, given the keynote address at the 2004 democrat national convention), senator Barack Obama.

In order to quell the jihad violence, a power-sharing agreement was brokered with Odinga’s terrorist faction.  Appeasing Islamic intimidation, Odinga was given the title of prime minister, and another key part of the deal was that Islamic Sharia law would be observed and enforced in all “Muslim declared regions” along with Islam being officially declared the supreme religion.

You have to go to websites such as World Net Daily, Atlas Shrugs, and Front Page Mag to get the lowdown, and you have to listen to Dr. Jerome Corsi report on his findings from his 2008 trip to Kenya, where he was arrested and jailed, then furtively deported, for trying to get the truth out.

Former top U.S. prosecutor of terrorism cases(including the American embassy bombing in Nairobi), Andrew C. McCarthy, has also written extensively on Obama’s illegal 2006 activities in Kenya.

According to World Net Daily, McCarthy’s book “The Grand Jihad: How Islam and the Left Sabotage America,” describes how “Obama spent six days barnstorming the Kenyan countryside in support of Raila Odinga, the socialist Luo who was seeking the presidency. Appearing with Odinga at campaign stops, Obama gave speeches accusing the sitting Kenyan president of being corrupt and oppressive, leaving the masses in poverty.”

I can’t help but notice the connection between Obama throwing the weight of his U.S. senate office behind the campaign of terrorist jihad which took place in Kenya in 2007, and the eventual massive terrorist ghastliness taking place in Kenya now.Around the globe, Obama supports the worst of the worst, because that’s what socialist community organizers do–they exploit and exacerbate conflict, to bring about their radical Marxist revolutionary goals.We are the new media.  Please help get the word about this out to the rest of America.
