Close to 100,000 Christians are being killed every year because of their faith, according to statistics from a Pew Research Survey and the International Society for Human Rights, a non-religious organization. These figures, which represent an “unprecedented,” number of death per year amount to 273 Christian killed daily, or 11 every hour, said Bishop John McAreavey, chairman of the Council for Justice and Peace. McAreavey, speaking to the Irish parliament on behalf of the Irish Catholic Bishop’s Conference, said, “Eighty percent of all acts of religious discrimination in the world today are directed against Christians.” Christian Persecution

The bishop added that an ever great number of Christians are “being tortured, imprisoned, exiled, threatened, excluded, attacked and discriminated against on a widespread scale.”

McAreavey quoted the former Chief Rabbi of Britain, Lord Jonathan Sacks, who said that the persecution of Christians is “one of the crimes against humanity of our time.” Sacks compared the reality of today’s suffering Christians to the Jews were terrorized by the pogroms in Europe. Sacks said he was “appalled at the lack of protest it has evoked.”

As to reasons why Western governments have not helped these populations, McAreavey suggested, “Perhaps because of a fear of being seen as less than aggressively secular in their own country, many governments of majority Christian countries in the West seem reluctant to give direct aid to churches and religious minorities.”Leftist determonation to destroy freedom of religion

A Catholic nun who escaped from Iraq after being driven out of her home by the Islamic State in August, 2014, recently testified before Congress. “This is cultural and human genocide,” said Sister Diana Momeka. “Christians have for centuries been the bridge that connects Eastern and Western cultures. Destroying this bridge will leave an isolated, inculturated conflict zone emptied of cultural and religious diversity.”freedom combo 2

The Supreme Court Will Turn the Bible into Mein Kampf

“Anyone who thinks I am exaggerating has not been paying attention.”

The Supreme Court will entertain oral arguments on natural marriage versus sodomy-based marriage on April 28. It will issue its ruling in June.  If the Supreme Court imposes same-sex “marriage” on the United States in June, it will turn the Bible into Mein Kampf, every Bible-believing pastor and Christian into Bull Connor, every church into Bob Jones University, and the entire First Amendment into confetti. This is because the only way the Court can find for “marriage” based on what Massachusetts law still calls “the abominable and detestable crime against nature” (you can look it up) would be to treat homosexuality as the biological equivalent of race, and deserving of the same protections.

Anyone who opposes the normalization of homosexuality will be lumped by the Supreme Court together with the Nazis, the KKK, slaveholders, and Aryan supremacists. The Bible, because it regards homosexual conduct as an “abomination” and as something “dishonorable, contrary to nature, (and) shameless” (Romans 1:26-27)  will become the equivalent of Mein Kampf.

The Bible will be classified as hate speech from beginning to end, and it will not be long before efforts will be made to cp 11ban it in school and public libraries and to forbid the study of it anywhere on college campuses. Most German libraries today carry only heavily redacted versions of Mein Kampf, and it won’t be long before pressure is brought to bear to do the same with the Bible.

Bull Connor was the Democrat sheriff in Birmingham who famously turned fire hoses and police dogs on those pressing for racial equality. If homosexuality is deemed by the Supreme Court to be the equivalent of race, all sincerely devoted followers of Christ will immediately be accused by definition of being as racist, mean-spirited, and bigoted as Mr. Connor. Leftist determonation to destroy freedom of religion

Bob Jones University, because it banned interracial dating, was stripped of its tax exempt status on the grounds that the United States should make no concessions and grant no favors to racist institutions. Every Bible-believing church in America will be tarred with the same brush. Loud, insistent calls will soon be made to strip tax exempt status from every church and every non-profit ministry which will not embrace homosexuality.

In Sweden, pastor Ake Green narrowly escaped two years in prison for preaching a sermon on the Bible’s view of homosexuality from his own pulpit in his own church. A street preacher in the UK was recently arrested and detained for declaring that homosexuality is a sin. He was even scolded by the judge for using the wrong verse from Leviticus in his preaching. As a judge, he felt himself perfectly entitled to dictate to this preacher the very content of his sermons. It won’t be long before similar pressure will be brought to bear here in America. whorshipping the US government

Christian radio stations and networks will eventually be stripped of their tax-exempt status. And since the airwaves are considered the property of the American people, the FCC will soon be pressured to take Christian programming off the airwaves altogether on the grounds that the people’s airwaves cannot be permitted to spew hate, racism and bigotry. Already in Canada, Christian programming is not allowed to deal with the subject of homosexuality at all under threat of termination. The Persecution has Begun

The First Amendment will become empty words on a meaningless page, and its lofty protections of freedom of religion, speech, press, petition and assembly will no longer be available to servants of the Cross. Anyone who thinks I am exaggerating has not been paying attention. police_state

It truly is a parade of horribles, and the parade may begin next Tuesday. Our prayer is no longer “May God save the United States and this honorable Court” but rather “May God save the United States from this honorable Court.”OARLogo Picture6

GENOCIDE BY JIHAD: The Islamic Mandate

Screen Shot 2015-02-02 at 10.21.48 AMThe host of idiots, sycophants, suck-ups and cowards who still spew the mantra that Islam is a religion of  “peace” manifestly haven’t been paying attention. While this gaggle of misfits is busy kissing Allah’s (not to mention CAIR’s) a**– Islamic organizations such as ISIS and Boko Haram are committing genocide by jihad.

That’s right: Genocide by Jihad.

Christian Persecution

And, as we have witnessed in the alternative media–the group they are deliberately targeting for systematic destruction [genocide] is Christians. Despite the oft (and always spurious) comments from John Kerry that ISIS and Boko Haram have “nothing” to do with Islam–the sane among us beg to differ. These Islamic-killing machines are not only following the barbaric paradigm set by the Prophet Mohammed–but also fundamental, Koranic doctrine that demands the violent subjugation and eventual annihilation of Christians (Koran 9:5, 9:12, 9:29, 4:91, 2:191, 5:59).The Persecution has Begun

Sadly, we are seeing this Koranic doctrine on display each day. From the five teenage boys executed in Mosul, Iraq by ISIS for violating Sharia law (they were watching a soccer match on TV) to the slaughter of 2,000 civilians in Baga, Nigeria at the hands of Boko Haram–Islam’s mandate for genocide is beyond gruesome. And just what did these victims have in common? You guessed it–they were all Christians. Of course–this is just a mere snapshot of the unfettered violence that Mohammed’s miscreants have perpetrated on innocent Christians. I’ll save the macabre details of rape, torture and mass beheadings for another post.

Lest we forget–this brand of barbarity is nothing new. In 1915 an Islamic nation known as the Ottoman Empire launched a vicious and bloody jihad against Armenian Christians within its borders. Adhering steadfastly to Koranic dogma–the Ottoman government considered all Christians “dangerous microbes” worthy of the most savage forms of eradication. And by the time the murder, mayhem and misery ended–2 million “people of the book” were ruthlessly slaughtered.cp 04

So, whether it’s ISIS, Boko Haram, or some other Muslim cohort committing genocide by jihad–just remember exactly what this is: The Islamic mandate. Islam is NOT

‘Following in the footsteps and spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King’

With persecution against Christians increasing in African nations and other places worldwide where Islam is advancing, an American pastor is calling black churches and others to join together to raise voices of opposition.

Stephen Broden of the Fair Park Bible Fellowship Church in Dallas is organizing a rally in his city next month under the banner of Americans Against the Persecution of Christians in Muslim Countries.

The coalition says it’s “committed to stopping the genocide of Christians in many Muslim countries.”

A march is scheduled to begin May 17 at 2 p.m. at City Hall Plaza in front of Dallas City Hall.

Among the speakers at the Dallas event are Rev. William Owens Jr., author and Jihad Watch founder Robert Spencer, author and Rescue Christians founder Walid Shoebat and counter-terrorism expert David Gaubatz, author of “Muslim Mafia,” published by WND Books.

But the coalition wants ministers of all denominations to join in mass protest marches in all major American cities to “break the politically-correct conspiracy of silence which has concealed this immense crime against humanity.”

>>>>>Persecuted: The Global Assault on Christians” produces the evidence. It’s available at the WND Superstore<<<<<

Broden said the coalition is marching “in the footsteps and spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.,” deriving its core inspiration from his admonition to confront evil openly.

“Our lives begin to end on the day that we become silent about things that matter,” King said.

Broden said what matters is that more than 100,000 Christians are murdered every year for their faith, according to estimates substantiated by the Vatican and the Center for the Study of Global Christianity.

In Africa, as WND has reported, the jihadist group Boko Haram continues to slaughter Christians in Nigeria in its effort to establish Islamic law. Sudan has been the scene of atrocities against Christians for decades. An estimated 1.5 million Christians have been killed in the genocidal campaigns carried out by Muslims from the north since 1984.

The international group Open Doors recently stated that nine out of the 10 countries cited for the worst Christian persecution are Muslim.

Atrocities against Christians by Islamic jihadists also have been carefully catalogued by Amnesty International, the International Red Cross, Human Rights Watch and many other respected humanitarian organizations.

The coalition seeks to “challenge the conscience of all Americans to oppose and defeat a murderous religious tyranny, to rally once more to the sacred principles of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, which are the birthright of all men and women, and which must now be guaranteed to Christians in the Muslim world.”

Dire assessment

The coalition pointed out that the persecution of Christians has become so horrific in the Middle East that several ancient Christian sects are in danger of extermination.

The Copts are fleeing Egypt by the thousands as churches are being burned to the ground and women and children violated. In Syria, Malakite Christians in Syria are facing extinction amid a jihad by the rebel forces seeking to establish Islamic law in the country.

John Eibner of World Watch has a dire assessment.

“If things continue as they are in Syria, there will be no more Christians, or other minorities, in the near future,” he said.

Report: Persecution of Christians reveals most abuse in Muslim countries

The majority of anti-Christian persecution in the world in 2013 took place at  the hands of Muslims, according to a list by Open Doors USA .
The  nondenominational group supporting persecuted Christians worldwide recently  released its 2014 World Watch List, that describes and ranks anti-Christian  persecution in a list of the 50 worst countries for the past year.
It  reported increasing violence against Christians in Africa, and said radical  Muslims were the main source of persecution in 36 countries on its list – both  in Islamic countries and in non-Muslim countries such as Kenya (ranked 40th),  Ethiopia (17th) and Tanzania (49th).
The top country where Christians  suffer, for the 12th consecutive year, remained communist North Korea, though  the nine following countries in the top ten were Islamic: Somalia, Syria, Iraq,  Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Maldives, Pakistan, Iran and Yemen.
Open Doors  said earlier this month that it had documented 2,123 “martyr” killings over the  year, compared with 1,201 in 2012. There were 1,213 such deaths in Syria alone  last year, it said.

“The one glaring fact that emerges from this report,”  American-born scholar Raymond Ibrahim said in his analysis of the statistics on  the Christian Broadcasting Network News website, “is that the overwhelming  majority of Christian persecution around the world today is being committed at  the hands of Muslims of all races, languages, cultures and socio-political  circumstances: Muslims from among America’s allies

  • (Saudi Arabia)
  • and its  enemies (Iran);
  • Muslims from economically rich nations (Qatar)
  • and from poor  nations (Somalia and Yemen);
  • Muslims from ‘Islamic republic’ nations  (Afghanistan)
  • and from ‘moderate’ nations (Malaysia and Indonesia);
  • [and]  Muslims from nations rescued by America (Kuwait).”

Ibrahim, the son of  Coptic Christian Egyptian parents, is a Shillman fellow at the David Horowitz  Freedom Center, an associate fellow at the Middle East Forum and author of a new  book, titled Crucified Again: Exposing Islam’s New War on Christians, that  documents the suffering of Christians in the region.
He noted that in  countries that underwent “Arab Spring” uprisings, increased persecution occurred  after the regimes collapsed.

“Muslim persecution of Christians,” Ibrahim  said, is “part of a continuum that started nearly 14 centuries  ago.”
